Woah! I’ve been looking for actual airliners all over Amazon, e-elite, and hobbyzone and never found this beauty! I’ve always wanted an airliner and I see on Amazon it’s under 200 bucks! What a hidden gem! Thanks for sharing ❤

„Thank you for flying with AV8R Airlines! We hope you enjoyed your flight and will see you again, soon! Consider to give us a like and recommend us to your family and friends“ 😂😂😂 I totally agree with Gina! Btw: you even almost make ME spill my breakfast coffee on the ‚homesick angel‘ for the first time and another time when my empathy with the poor passender went through the roof. 🤣 What an entertaining and enjoyable video! You made my day! Thanks for your great work, Adam and Heidi!

We will not be serving lunch on this flight as you'd never keep it down anyway. Moving about the cabin is not allowed, so if you have to pee...hold it. Enjoy the airshow...er...flight!" Lol. I fly my Twinliner on 1300 3s ! It will fly like an airliner and the reduced weight allows far slower take off and landing speeds. Fixed split flaps are an easy mod and reduce speed further. I fly my sports jets when I want to fly fast and do aerobatics ! Cheers Paul

I really loved do the maiden on mine - I used 2800Mah 4S, and it was great - Fast and Slick... and handles grass field no issues at all ...I found the velcro they provide really does stick... but I was thinking I might stick in a strap anyway but decided it did not need it, Yer the Maiden Landing caught me out - I did just what you said, and yep it happened - throttled up and Bingo - nice to the sky !! managed to get her down and the maiden + 1 was a much better landing

Hi Adam just wondered what the skill level was for the super timber 1.7m plane is as I am thinking about picking one up for my second airplane from coming off my rtf carbon cub s2 and I'm managing to fly around in expert mode and doing basic rolls. Thank-you
@ModelAV8RChannel
@ModelAV8RChannel 2 ай бұрын
Hey man, the Super Timber is a phenomenal airplane...still my fav foam sport bush plane. It is however more airplane than the Carbon Cub S2...more features so more complicated and it is a much higher performance plane. If you have really good skills with your S2 and are confident with it you could absolutely ease into flying the ST with a more subdued set up. If you have a more experienced pilot that can help you with it at first that would be helpful.

Airliners are very efficient aircraft so they are excellent to make RC models of. The downside is airliners looping and rolling which looks a bit suspect to me! We tend to see airliners irl with the wheels down so I find the fixed gear on this to be acceptable, unlike on some models. This is not for me but it looks like they have done a good job and the flight duration is excellent.

Oh Man, i really wouldn't want to be a passenger on any of those flights. Especially the one with the unscheduled cargo departure 😊 I've only recently begun playing around with AS3X+ stick priority in conjunction with my gains. There's no level of tinkering that i cant justify with the phrase "rotor turbulence", apparently. In AS3X+ it seems like im really cutting my Roll gain down quite a bit(15/16), while adjusting the stick prio down(120/130) as well. Multiple BNF,AS3X+ planes, too- SR22t, P-47, T-28 . I noticed you've got similar roll axis settings for this plane, though not a 3x+ bird. I'm curious if you use similar low roll axis settings on lots of planes. If so, do you think it's due to the huge amount of throw we get on ailerons? Or am i just getting more picky, as i become more of a grouchy old codger, rc pilot? 😊 Great review, as always. Awesome filming, Heidi! Thanks for sharing that neat new battery eject trick with us, too Adam 👍
@ModelAV8RChannel
@ModelAV8RChannel 2 ай бұрын
Ha Ha! Thanks Al. So with airliners the combination of wing sweep and dihedral gives then a lot of yaw/roll coupling, so it is hard to get the roll and yaw gains right. With this one I used much more yaw gain and less roll. With AS3X+ I notice the gains are much more sensitive. With that Edge on normal AS3X I was at 1x gain sensitivity and a very low number for roll gain (like 6%). With AS3X+ I'm at .25x gain sensitivity and a bit of a higher number. If I remember right by priority's are between 120 and 140. Then stop lock feature is amazing. In answer to one of your questions, yes...the bigger the ailerons and the more the throw the less gain you'll need if you don't want that annoying "bounce" when you stop quickly in the roll axis. Keep in mind too, I'm still tinkering with AS3X+. It is awesome, but I have much to learn still.

I eant your "lights" Is it possible brazilian accident to happen from ice and only? As I see it to go at flat spin, wants more !!! Maybe assimetrical power???? I have never see that end only from ice!!!
@ModelAV8RChannel
@ModelAV8RChannel 2 ай бұрын
Hello my friend! Unfortunately yes...icing can absolutely do that. The problem is the buildup changes the shape of the airfoil to the point of killing the lift. That and the added weight can make the plane uncontrollable. The fall happens so fast the ice can't melt off before the crash. If a spin occurs with a twin like that...the centrifugal force created by the outboard mass (engines) makes recovery impossible. Power from either engine doesn't help...it actually worsens the spin. And you have to remember...they have no lift or control due to the ice build up, and ice usually forms and packs on the underside of the plane (wings and fuse) for a while too as at cruise altitude they are usually on autopilot...which as the ice starts to build up and the plane progressively loses lift will raise the nose to hold altitude exposing the underside of the plane. So by the time it lets go it is hopeless...they are way heavy, out of balance, and making insufficient lift to maintain flight. The best way to handle icing is to stay the hell out if it or use the planes anti icing features. The crew wasn't paying proper attention, and they paid for it.
