I'm so looking forward to you doing all of these XFM shows, there's hundreds more classic moments and anecdotes. Karl grows into it the more it goes on, he ends up being the centre of attention quite quickly. It's so fun being able to literally listen to Karl go from a nobody to the star of a show, week by week.

That Aliens exhibition they mentioned... I went to that twice and it was absolutely terrifying!! Alien War in the Trocadero basement. Being chased by xenomorphs as the lights are strobing will certainly mess you up. And Dwight Schultz was Murdock in the A Team as well as Lt Barclay in Star Trek TNG and Voyager

It's amazing how much you extract from these early episodes - I can only imagine how it will be in the later ones. Karl didn't feature much, same in Ep4, but you seem to naturally bring so much out of the episode to enhance it. The anecdotes of the haunted house and the presents were just great. And the helicopter one... jeez. That you share this stuff and get so much out of your videos in terms of fun is the very reason why you do this better than the rest. It's also why your Patreon is an absolute bargain. 24k well earned.

Once you get to episode 10, I think that's when things start to take off with more recurring features and them involving Karl a lot more. They are all good easy listening to me though, and they often reference things from past episodes so it's all worth it 👍

- I've never had a bad present (as I usually got what I asked for) until one fateful Christmas. My mother, for some bizarre reason, bought me a balloon animal making kit. I've never expressed an interest in making balloon animals and I was 25 years old at the time. Your gibberish songs story remind me of the Italian hit "Prisencolinensinainciusol" by Adriano Celentano. He wrote it to make some kind of point about English language music being huge in the Italian charts, and doing well even though people didn't really speak it back in the 70s or whenever it was. He just made it sound kind of "English" without being made up of any English words, just pure gibberish. It kind of backfired, as it became his biggest hit.
