Hey guys, sorry for pinning this comment on all videos but I want to give you an update on the channel. I've been slowly adding a show archive to the videos including a full transcript added as sub titles and a full track listing (with links to KZbin videos for each track). Pilkipedia archive link has been added as well and I've been having fun illustrating some of KP's best bits, I'm adding these to a shop incase anyone is interested: www.man-moth.com/ It's taking me a while to update the archives, especially as I don't work Mondays so please bear with me as I chip away at it. Lots of love, Man Moth.

@@tedthecommenter5364 100% agree. I think all you need to do is look at the nosedive Ricky's work has taken since the two parted ways (in my opinion at least. I accept that Afterlife is enormously popular with a lot of people, and fair enough, to each their own, I just personally don't think the word "cunt" alone constitutes humour). Then you look at the stuff Steve has done, like Hello Ladies isn't absolutely groundbreaking admittedly, but it's still probably the funniest thing out of the stuff the two have done separately, while I also think he was really good in Four Lives.

S2 is probably my favourite series, but also makes me sad at the same time, particularly this episode. It’s when you witness Karl’s transition from enjoying doing the show to feeling gradually more overworked, pressured and being increasingly teased by Ricky and Steve. You can witness the change in this episode and it sadly pretty much continues from here. 😂

Don't be too sad for Karl, he's definitely a millionaire now and that's definitely down to his lucky relationship with Ricky. I'd take a prolonged ribbing to have Karl's career
@Adelehalsall2 жыл бұрын
@@GOSTDatingandLifestyle True, true, he has been very lucky in that way. But I think if you asked him, he’d maintain that he never cared about fame, money or fortune (an’ that). Sometimes I think what Karl really needed was to speak to a therapist. In many of the episodes he says things that suggest to me he has low-level depression, and I think some of his childhood stories explain that. I wonder if he’s ever had therapy in the years since.

Ricky is a bad liar, which is nice really, you can hear him get out of breath and flustered with his crab story to Karl

Ricky’s impression/summation of Wild Weather is possibly the most subtly brilliant thing of all of his XFM years.

Oh my god the magician story with the appendicitis made me laugh so hard! It was the best! Sounds like a Penn and Teller trick!

Wouldn't that lizard have moved at some point before the end of the flight though..? And wouldn't the woman have put it in her bag when getting off the plane..? It's about the 15th time I've listened to this ep & think this every time. I dunno.. random 2am thoughts, hey.

I always wonder when the atmosphere started going downhill - when you think about the difference in Karl's mood and Ricky and Steve's attitude towards him from the start of season 2 to the end. I think it might be around this episode. Atmosphere more fraught than we've really seen before - Ricky starting to get a bit impatient with the nonsense Karl believed, rockbusters clues going from bad to worse and Karl starting to get a bit fed up

jcrawley1 yeah I never listen to the episodes from the early thirties onwards. Ricky turns into a bully and Karl and Steve seem to hate each other. It goes from hilarious and endearing to something a bit toxic

Karl brought some of it on himself. Talking more shit than usual, never listening etc.
