This is the single of the year to me. The melody, the feeling, the uniqueness, lyrics and this disco+rock+electronica. It always makes me dance in the gym. I am extremely happy because the song hasn't been shortened to the standard 3-4 minutes and it almost sounds like a remix of its own. It has some incredible positivity in the guitar riff. The intro, the piano, OMG, and the building of the ambience with adding lots of layers of electronica versus the very charismatic voice of Alex Kapranos, makes you feel like a real cool dude! Ow , yes, aren't we always ascending?

Wow. I have only heard their older songs from the No You Girls era. I had No Clue! I hadn't thought about of the length of time in between then & now, their older, the slight but impactful changes to their music (which was fantastic then, & has stood the test of time) to this mature ripening as a band, as musicians and being confident enough in yourselves & your audience, to perform this highly visual production in s track suit, it's fantastic! This whole video exudes confidence not only as a band, but as a unit. It's bold to experiment so heavily on the visual production side, but it's such a high end production team and you are clearly a great fit. You evolved together. No makeover. It's just marvelous. And you didn't stop loving what you do. This isn't phoned in. There is still that energy that attracted your audience to begin with. Great musicians. But, whoever your manager is, he's brilliant. Whoever is in charge of these videos is brilliant. Choreography, casting, costumes, lighting and sets, they are all brilliant. Having only seen two videos, many years apart, it's wonderful to see where you are (at this point) in your life. For me it was a Serious fast forward & I can't wait to see the next one!
