I'm sure one of the other commenters yelled at you about the 2nd verse (the rap verse) was cut from the MV and its in the actual song. Simon PD just explained in an IG live is cause they wanted to focus on telling a high quality story with impact and in order to maintain that they had to cut a verse from the MV. The director for this MV (this was his first MV to direct) is a photographer and artist in Korea. So reason why the visuals were just insane. Hope you're doing good. Enjoyed the new single btw.
