XG lore I wanted to post after watching all y'all vids😊🫶🏿 XG are a shape shifting alien wolf pack from another galaxy. If you watch all their music videos in order you'll see the through line. Tippy Toes shows a lil bit of their wolf shape & powers. Mascara show a bit of their body adaptability. Shooting Star tells the story of them wanting to shoot off into the Stars to achieve their dreams. Left Right shows them traveling across the galaxies. HESONO/X-GENE is them awakening from hibernation before reaching Earth. GRL GVNG is XGs arrival to Earth. TGIF is their evolution commencing on the planet. New Dance is them exploring their new environments. And Puppet Show is a celebration. Winter Without You is a Xmas classic. Undefeated is them taking no Ls since day one. Woke Up is about them breaking boundaries and tearing down stereotypes.

Well this may sound surprising and other Alphaz will probably disagree with me, but honestly, I don't think it's worth an album listen for the stream lol ONLY because there's not much to listen to. The first track is just an intro, then this one Howling then a skit and you heard Something Ain't Right and IYKYK and then there's "Woke Up" but it's a remix that does not, I repeat, does **NOT** feature XG but it features other popular rappers and it's not the 'Woke Up' the girls did lyrically. I can't help but be annoyed that a song that does not feature XG is on an XG album but I still really think Simon is a genius but I just don't agree with his decision about putting that Woke Up on the album and not selling it separately as a single. On the positive side, there are two new songs "Is this love" and "In the rain" that I think are good. Thank you for your continued support for XG. They continue to amaze me

Nowhere did I say this was a full or mini album because if you had watched their last XG reaction, you would know that they already know it's a mini album

Simon I'm telling ya, one of these days you're gonna admit Maya is your bias 😉 So the mermaid is not out of nowhere imo (I'm on the 4th hour of an 8 hour car ride to visit family so forgive me for this long post) Juria is a mermaid fairy. There's a whole bunch of mythical creatures in here and as you know, each mythical creature represents or symbolizes different things. Just some quick research to explain myself better and you find for instance: Mermaids symbolize divine femininity but also represent "the merging of two worlds and the potential for change and growth: Mermaids are often seen as creatures of transformation, their half-human, half-fish form represents the merging of two worlds and the potential for evolution and personal growth. Also I found this interesting "Mermaids have also been seen as symbols of rebellion and freedom, breaking free from the constraints of human society and living their lives on their own terms" and XG are given a lot of freedom that many performers in some music industries, do not have. Simon has allowed them the freedom to be themselves and express themselves. Fairies often symbolize protectors of nature and feminine beauty etc etc. Dragons are really interesting because they symbolize many different things in many different cultures but generally they can represent "strength, wisdom, and charisma, guiding businesses to cultivate leadership, creativity, sustainability, empowerment, and strong connections". Werewolves can symbolize violence but also freedom "but only if you have the mindset of a wild one thriving on that freedom" I also just read that spiritually, the werewolf can symbolize the transformative journey of self-discovery, personal growth and powerful instinct. So I don't know their intentions for putting all of these mythical creatures together but their symbolisms can embody XG as a group, their lore, and XGALX as a team. Well to me anyway 😄 Thank you another XG reaction. Even though my interest in watching reactions are dwindling, I do come back for yours. I really hope you watch a guide when you have time plus there are some good fan compilations. If I knew how to edit, I would make one myself for you guys but I am tech ignorant sadly 🫤 Oh btw they have their shows "3 Meals A Day" and my favorite "X or Go" which I always watch if I need a laugh 😂 There's also Xtra XG and all kinds behind the scene series on their channel Bless whoever has read this whole thing lmao

I'd love to hear from the PD or the Group more about the intention of the MV - it's stunning and, after more than a dozen watches already, there's so much more still to see. And the Maya bias might be real. Hmm... yeah... now that I think about it... I'm going to need to spend some time with this idea! 🤣

@alongfortheridereacts Yeah this mv is stunning and so packed with potential symbolisms. There's something to discover in each watch. Just every well done by all involved. As for your XG bias issue, I think you'll be able to be sure once you get to know their personalities in non mv content. Maya is very fun, loud and always laughing at somebody. You seem to like the leaders (Do you have a bias in EXO or WayV?) though so you actually might end up being double biased with Maya and Jurin as your XG biases and Hinata as your wrecker. It's gonna be fun to see if I end up being right 😂
