Completely agree with errything you're saying Arri! As a millennial black dude XG's boldness and badassery has been such a breath of fresh air. XG's songs of female empowerment is a breath of fresh air in the industry. And I feel like not only that but it gives those that feel like they're not heard or has not enough power to fight against the machinations of oppressive industries (which even to the modern times is still an insanely realistic issue) an opportunity to be heard.
