I think New Dance choreographer was Sienna Lalau. Also, the reason XG didn’t debut in Japan js they wanted to promote globally and the J-pop music industry is more focused domestically. The Korean music shows and promotions are more easily reached by a global audience

it's good to see that neither of you have taken criticisms personally. i think the main reason you have gotten any at all is because of your fixation on whether it's kpop or not. it's easy enough to understand that XG dont label themselves kpop bc that would also create controversy - theyre not korean and they dont sing in korean which traditionally means "not kpop". Simon labelling them xpop seems like more of an ambiguous pocket where XG can freely express themselves without limits of a fixed genre/industry/culture, plus it's GREAT marketing for them. also if it helps to understand why they didnt debut in Japan, i remember seeing a Japanese comment which said that the amount of exposure and investment that South Korea pours into idol groups is incomparable to anywhere else so i see it as kpop and South Korea being recognised as a massive entertainment industry - wouldnt be surprised to see more international artists debut in South Korea in a few years.

​@@user.chdner4wjd as already mentioned, Korea's idol industry is the best of the best, so where else would they go? take it as a compliment. your society (i assume you're Korean) made K-Pop big enough for people around the world to come to your country for fame, just like how artists flock to the US to make it big in Hollywood. is it really hard to understand, or do you just not want to?

勝った負けた。 やっぱり音楽でも、そこにこだわってしまうんですね。 日本人ですが、XGは日本代表という価値観とかでは無く、色んな人を自由にするような活動しているから好きなんです。 宇宙人というコンセプトが好きなんです。 こんなにK popが認められてるのに、なんでもっと自信を持たないのだろうと思う。良いものは良いと、日本人の若者は言いますよ。 自分の利権みたいに音楽に向き合うと、New jeansみたいに大人の事情で対立したり、素晴らしい女の子達が巻き込まれちゃうことになります。 国の事情を持ち出したら、 世界のアーティストは表現を邪魔されてしまう。 XGが活躍することで、また次世代のどこかにいる才能が自由になる感覚で見ています。 Kpopにリスペクトがあるから韓国に若いうちから親元離れて韓国語を一生懸命覚えた子達です。

I think there are two points of view that XG is really trying to capture and sell in terms of concepts visually and musically. One is the "alien/extraterrestrial" concept and storyline which runs through all of their MVs since shooting star for sure. The other is musically they are really committed to a very early 2000s/late 90s rnb vibe like TLC/Aaliyah. I'm in my mid 30s so I love that because it really hits a nostalgic place for me and I think it's a very underrepresented musical inspiration. They do a lot of camera angles that really capture that nostalgia as well. Left and Right literally felt like an updated MV from 1997 and I was obsessed lol.

You guys definitely don't know anything about XG but Jurin, Hinata and Chisa are 21, Harvey is 20, would be 21 December. Juria is 19, Maya is 18 already. Cocona would be 18 by Dec. International age not korean age. Jurin is not the only 20 among them. You clearly don't know anything about and i dont think you are even interested. Chisa is the oldest member

Chisa is the mum of the group, and the Korean Age isn’t a thing anymore and no korean would ever apply korean age to non koreans anyway
