XG's X-Pop could start a new trend that the entire music industry isn't prepared for. The American industry will find it way harder to sell people Ice Spice, Drake or Jack Harlow music. Same goes for the Asian music industry. They can no longer have J-Pop or K-Pop groups where not every single member is also an all-rounder if they wanna compete with XG that in theory appeals to everyone because of their amazing talent and versatility in the songs they put out

Harvey's verse in this song goes so hard and it will live in my brain forever. I'm glad too, I feel like she has gotten a lot of bit parts in some of their music lately - certainly nothing touching mediocre but the beat and even the choreo on her part in this song really jumps out at me. The whole sequence from Hinata to Harvey gives me chills.

secondary shoutout to Juria though - they've been using her heavily as the bridge and breakdown vocalist and I really enjoy it tbh. Everytime she gets her shine my brain goes "yessss give Juria her girlypop moment"

If you think a lot is happening in this XG performance video then prepare yourself when you see their dance practice videos of Tippy Toes and Grl Gxng, their performance video for Hesonoo & X-Gene or their MOVE #1 and MOVE #3 video

Fun facts: Producer/manager Simon is a Korean/Japanese American. Their main song writer, Chancellor, is Korean American. And their main choreographer, Sienna Lalau, is Samaon American (from my home Sate of HI).👊🐺✌️

Their entire team is so diverse. Even producers that worked with Ariana grande participated in XG music production. Also day day and YOX for the hard slapping bars.

with the styling, they share the same shop as AESPA for the staff that does their makeup and glam. but I also think they have a Japanese creative director for the looks and branding.

its under valorant when looking up the song, also just for future groups making noise you should be looking into, I'd highly recommend tapping into OneorEight who are about to release their first debut song but have released some content they are the cousins of XG under the Avex umbrella. F5ve is another group that fully shows support to XG that just released Underground. Psychic Fever which I'm sure you have heard one of their songs go viral

As a huge fan of XG, a part of me is disappointed to hear you're being pushed towards shorter videos - I LOVE how XG lets their audience really dive into their content and I enjoy how you respond and analyze music and media. I can't speak for everyone but getting a new perspective on media I love is the main reason I watch any reaction videos and the longer and more involved the better. BUUUUUT as I am involved in content creation myself (albeit not as a "face" or host or whatever, bts stuff) I know that the difference between a digestible long form commentary/react video and a shorter 10-15 discover kind of video is a CANYON of effort, especially with the style you are going for (which I love, btw) I would guess that over time you'll find a rhythm that fits into what you want to be as a creator, and I'm excited to see what that is and encourage you to try as many things as possible! (and dont be afraid to pause videos- people who whine about that MUST think the only place to get the original content is this video and are therefore wrong on so many levels.)

Hi Aimee, you should check out Tsubi Club's new single "Laced Up". They just came back after 3 years of silence working independently on a 9 minute music video to accompany the song with an array of talented twitter visual artists and his cinematographer friends. I think you'd love both the visuals and ofc the music too. It's sooosooso great. Sonically they're inspired by hyperpop and indietronica and visually their work is very influenced by FLCL. I think you'd love it!
