If you’re into reactions, it’s better that people pause and give their genuine reactions/lyrical breakdown if they want to appreciate that specific moment. Aint no one gonna remember all their thoughts or the verses after watching the whole video.

I really enjoyed this reaction, I also loved that AnnaMay already knew about XG it really does help new comers to enjoy XG that much more. All of the members are born and raised in Japan. Maya is the only member that can speak English fluently because she went to an international school that had her speaking English. Even still all the members are so dedicated to their craft and have so much respect for music that every song is executed to effortlessly. I would love to see more reactions to XG maybe their latest release SOMTHING AIN’T RIGHT just to show their diversity.

They didn't write their bars but English is their third language and Maya went to International school. They're DOPE. They've been training for five years for this. Singing, Dancing, Rapping, and their knowledge of American 90's and 2000's R&B and Hip Hop is next level. They respect the OGs. XG is a 7 member Japanese global girl group aged currently 18-22 formed by XGALX. They do Hip Hop/R&B and Pop. XG is completely fluent in Korean and Japanese but they choose to sing/rap in English because they are a Global Girl Group. They want to reach as many people as possible. This is why they sing in English even though they could sing in Korean or Japanese. Fandom is called ALPHAZ because the leader of a pack of wolves is called the Alpha. They have a Wolves/Alien concept. Members in order of age- Chisa, Hinata, Jurin, Harvey, Juria, Maya, Cocona.

Fusion. I'm surprised no one has said that before. They are taking Western sound and mixing it with the k pop aesthetic. They call it Xpop. Which means there are no limits on what they can do. If you keep digging, you'll see that they don't just do hip hop and r&b. They have pop and club type songs as well. They even do a rock rendition of their song, "Shooting Star" at their live shows. The Beatles, gave concerts in Japan in the 1960s too. Queen then became popular from Japan in the 70s. So they wrote songs with Japanese lyrics. Japanese music genres are subdivided into many different genres, e.g. Vocaloid. It is interesting to look into many of them.

The second girl, Harvey, is half Japanese & Australian. English is her second language. The fourth girl, Maya, is Japanese but she's the most fluent in English. The girl doing the chorus, Hinata, is half Japanese & Korean. The others are all fully Japanese but all of them speak Japanese, Korean and English.
