I’m so amazed on the fact that only Maya is fluent in English but their pronunciations are so on point. I can clearly understand what they are singing and the amazing part is that most of the international singers don’t have clear pronunciations when singing. Sometimes I have to google the lyrics, but with XG I don’t need to even read the subtitles. They are sooo good I sooooo love them uuughhh

Maya is the only member fluent in English. She attended an International Catholic school where English was standard. Many of the students were children of US military. That's why she speaks American English. Harvey is Hafu, Aussie/Japanese, and like the rest of the members only spoke limited English. They have greatly improved their English and Korean since they began training in Korea.

Lance....this song was literally written by a bunch of Black Americans. Of course, it has our sound. The lyrics were literally taken out of our AAVE dictionary. At first, I was confused because these are Japanese girls, not American so there is no way they say any of these phrases in their culture...that's us. But when I found out who actually wrote the lyrics it all made sense. I would rather them be a little more authentic rather than just emulative of our culture. BUT there is so much room for growth and I'm excited for them. I hope they go far.

@@Pinwheel622 if that were the case everyone will be successful. The individuals already have the talent, you are trained to be better and improve on what you have. Charisma comes natural most times. Even in corporate jobs and most areas of life people go for training to improve their skills for what they are interested in, are they 'manufacturing perfection'. Kpop has its downsides but generally they train to try out people before investing, as pop is more performance. US music industry had their own training method in the past too but now artist/management who are interested in being better mostly handle their own training

It's not really a choreographer's decision. I remember YG and JYP played a role on how the choreos would turn out. I think in XG's case they wanted to showcase their vocal and rap while being THE swaggy group so a chill routine would do, they don't really need to go hard because there's no area to compensate, they are good overall.

This comeback is incredible and they are all shining but there is something about Chisa! She’s shining bright this comeback. The line distribution is fair, the songs are amazing, choreos are breath taking, the rap line (Jurin, Cocona, Maya and Harvey) slayed and the vocal line (Chisa, Juria, Hinata) had beautiful harmonies.

More like, 2nd vocal line) makes me so happy and proud of them all. And one of the things that have always impressed me about XG since the beginning is their amazingly perfect synergy. Chisa and Juria's highnotes is what I live for 😍😍. They are the best group in 4th generation ( No hate to any other girl group) but their is something that makes XG stand out among all the groups. But l don't understand why are they so underrated they deserve a lot of attention, popularity and love. No other k-pop or j-pop group have never attracted me so much.
