Arguably for me Hepcat and the Slackers are the best band's to come along since the original revival of the the 70's . I had the opportunity to see quite a few of the Moon Ska acts mid to late 80's some great band's then but most of those band's were long gone by time the 90's kicked in full throttle.

Homeboy's voice blew out about halfway through. Still great. Their chicago show in 1997-ish with the Bosstones was the single greatest concert I've ever been to.

Para mi es New York Ska Jazz Ensemble (bueno, la canción John and James aparece en el primer album de NYSJE y es cantada por los dos vocalistas de Hepcat), pero Hepcat sería mi segunda o tercera banda favorita (una eterna disputa con The Toasters) de EEUU.

+rodoliv naw. not enough battery power for two sets. But they were great. Used to see them with their original singer Tony at The Barn and was surprised to see them still playing and sounding great despite line up changes.
