How medal event is judged:
Semifinal:
1 heats of 12 athletes in an 18-minute jam session. If an athlete falls, the clock buzzer will sound and their run is over. Best run counts (:40 seconds max.), ranked 1-12. Judges will score competitors throughout the contest. Top 3 athletes from each heat advance to the final.
Final:
1 heat of 6 athletes in an 18-minute jam session. If an athlete falls, the clock buzzer will sound and their run is over. Best run counts (:40 seconds max.), ranked 1-6. Judges will score competitors throughout the contest.

Whoever judged this contest needs a medal! Like its such a hard job and u dont wanna screw anyone, plus u gotta know everybodys bag! I used to hate when they wld say Ozky wasnt doing a planned run, like he wld do the same tricks in diffrent orders, Tony put a end to that early on with like 2 sentences! I was a little worried when Corey landed the fs flip that he was gonna get a 90+ but they were spot on even with Jaggers slower run and kegans super run! Every run fell right where I think it shld on the leaderboard! Hatz off to the judges!

Best part of X Games in Ventura. Everyone was absolutely killing it here. Jagger Eaton's second run was a thing of beauty! Truly inspiring to see such dedication in a person. Thank you for hosting this event, ESPN, XGames, rad skateboarding as always. Awesome course. I kinda wish the guys had more time to skate it before hand because I’m thinking someone would have boardslid that big wooden chair hanger between the bowls. That would have been rad. Sorgente probably would’ve got that tail stall on the roof’s edge too. These guys are very awesome skateboarders.
