@Stevie.kicks. I think this course was pretty lame so the riders didnt have much chance to get creative. Perhaps on a better course Willy would be more inspired to try something else but I dont think he will let this one go just yet.

@@godver555 X games have stated in the past that they design the courses to be difficult to ride. I think it's a smart move seeing that FISE have it covered in terms of big ramps to facilitate big tricks. That said it's also another example of X games not being what it used to be...

What an amazing competition. It was nonstop tricks that I didn't even think were possible. Crazy to think that the BMX scene is still progressing, while Ryan WIlliams constantly bringing in new tricks (not so much this time), and Kevin Peraza bringing in so much style.

Probably the most awesome best trick event that I've ever seen! I love how all of these guys push each other to the limits and are so stoked when their opponents land tricks and they're genuinely worried about the other opponents when they get injured. BMX has been a revolutionary extreme sport. I'm at Daniel's Sandoval years ago when he was learning front flips and he was one of the nicest people even when he was a kid. I think it was Corona skatepark or Upland in California if I remember right! If RW would have landed the double backflip fakie to cap off the event....

Guy has been killing it for years so happy for him, what a competition that was just unbelievable really wish R Willy got that double back to fakie but it’s coming soon no doubt about it! Japan crowd has been awesome in all the events I have watched so far good to see how much they love and appreciate the time and effort these riders/skaters all dedicate to their craft. Heal up soon Brandon, compressed multiple vertebrae in my lumbar spine from a car accident many years ago not fun at all, probably have pain for life but it didn’t stop me from riding as a nobody so I’m sure his professional self will be back and better than ever! Hard to watch guys get hurt though injuries suck so bad

Jeremy did a super tech, scary and dangerous trick. That being said, Daniel had massive height and slightly less tech slightly less danger. I'd give the W to Jeremy but close to a draw. All in all great judging. Dowell with super tech. Everyone rode amazing, get better soon Brandon!!
