This is a cool new event. I like it, it would be cool if the course continued with like six more features down a hill. But that's a fantasy. I'd be happy to see mtb Slopestyle back in the mix too, probably just another fantasy though. X-games is awesome! Great work guys and thanks for making all of this happen!

I think there is a strong lack of interest in the X-games and "extreme" sports in general. simply look at the views on this video. I have no idea why X-games fell off the way it did but I don't know if it will have the same financial backing like it once had.

This new event was certainly cool. But it does not replace big air. I like quality over quantity. Would rather see some super polished tricks over the gap and then up the huge quarter pipe going as high as they can go and trying to land it versus doing a bunch of tricks in a line like mega Park

Rwilly's trick was a frontflip kickless tailwhip rewind. Generally referred to as a kickless or kicky among friends. Never a windshield wiper. It came from scooter, not sure who did it first.

When I was 14 years old… I was the first person in my state to do a 540 over a channel …. Also I was first to do a tail whip air in my state… I’m 50 years old now and I miss doing this terribly.. when I was 16… I was riding my bike in town.. car jumped a curb and hit me head on… I now have 2 metal knees …. I also had to facial surgery cause my nose and right eye socket was crushed and I had a cracked neck… the person who hit me was never caught… I was lucky that one of my mom’s friends knew who I was and saw what happened and called my mom to tell her… also this is a time before cell phones… I was unconscious for 3 weeks cause I had head injury… I was lucky.. very lucky… the doctors said I should not have lived… then he saw pictures of my bike.. it saved my life… also if I had not happened to me.. I would not have met my wife.. and I would not have my 2 beautiful boys… oh also at the time I was sponsored by vision street wear and odyssey…

need an X Games video game, were u can choose ya discipline and create ur own tricks using real world physics showing ramp angle speed etc so that riders create new tricks in game and be able to replicate it in real life, career mode compete in smaller events like dew tours fise etc working ur way to the X Games, could add every lay outs from all the x games and even create your own layout and share with friends

BMX is definitely better for the megaramp, but it's not true that it is overall more fun to watch than skateboarding. Just different. BMX goes bigger but skating has a LOT more variety of tricks. They both own, no need to choose one or the other!

BMX Dirt imo was the definition of freestyle bmx back in the days (late 90s early 2000s). Imo i seen way better competition via dirt far as originality then park and vert. Simply because we see sooooooo many repetitive tricks in park and vert Another tail whip, another fip, another bar spin… What happened to can cans, decades, supermans Thats why announcers act surprise anytime someone does one.

I give these bikers alot of respect because it seems they are doing bigger and better tricks all the time and the bar is almost to the roof. Any mistake can seriously injure these bikers. And I get anxiety to watch them so high up in the air and I don't even see any knee pads or elbow pads. It's actually a pretty common trick, but not everyone feels confortable doing it, and these commentators are used to see all kind of tricks, nevertheless, it's a very cool trick, one of my favorites to watch
