Great content . Exposing the missing gamma adjustments are a no go for me. Other cons also point to a less than ideal projector for my first projector after 5 yrs with a 65” LG OLED that’s pretty special , but not the cinema experience I desperately need

Thanks for the in-depth review as always. This is a no go for me due to its lacking of CMS and fix frame rate. In short, it's a glorified android box which has a laser projector.

@@davidlantz3302 Exactly, Vincent is the man! I actually ordered the Hisense just because the 100 day policy, I have never owned a projector so I really want to give it a try. If I'm not convinced I'll go with the 83" OLED.

It would be awesome to get a highlights review of various UST projectors at price points. I think these laser projectors are going to revive the home theater market. One question I have is how the picture quality on these compares to a 100 inch LCD TV or a 77 inch OLED TV vs. the price.

How about a review of the Hisense 3 laser UST projectors, available with both "daylight" and "cinema" screens? It is supposed to cover 147% of the P3 and 107% of bt.2020! Available in 100" and 120" screens (screens come with the unit). The projector's lens are matched to the screen's size.

I have no use for a projector if I can't hook my DVD player to it and have it project it. I plan on buying more DVDs in the future and watching them on my TV. Also, I dont like it my screen to be too big.

Hisense is limit to 100 in screen so you can't go bigger or smaller that size

You never mentioned which screen you used, to do your testing. Please tell us what you use! No one buys just a projector by itself if they care about quality, and I'm specifically concerned about whether an "ambient light rejection" screen is important.

that DLP chip is 1080p240hz native, so thats just a dumb OEM doing dumb OEM stuff it can also do 1440p120hz if it had hdmi2.1 like the HU810P, which you should review asap

Vincent with respect the Xigimi has released quite a few UST laser projectors for years such as the Lune 1080, Lune 4K, Lune 4K pro, etc etc. I have purchased a couple of those and been using one for the last 3 years. I expected their UST laser projector to be as small or smaller than the Xiaomi 4k laser projector. Really disappointed in the form factor and the lack of speakers and the ridiculous price

Always with the miming thumbnails even with a decent size audience. Just because everyone else WAS doing that doesn’t mean that you should KEEP doing it. By the time you catch on to a fad it has passed. Do your own thing. As everyone knows, the title and thumbnail are get people to click in the first place.

Why you doin projector reviews now? You need to review higher end projectors, this is too cheap to have any comparison to any TV that you're used to. I always say projectors are 90-95% of the image quality at 3x the size. It's a no brainer most of the time, especially with light control.
