Got one as a birthday present for my sister, this thing is surprisingly decent. Not the brightest projector in town but the picture is really clear and as long as you keep the ambient lighting low the colors and contrast are great for a cheap projector especially when you consider i projected on a plain white wall. This is enough for movie nights with the kids or for watching a quick episode from the bed.

Great review, a few questions, how did you connect to a bluetooth speaker, on my unit, It is only set to Auto and cannot be changed? there is no option to connect to a bluetooth speaker. Also, is there an option to stream movies from a NAS? I cannot see one. Cheers.

Thanks. Just connect like smartphone. Did you update to the latest firmware? Install Plex on NAS. Then use it.

@jayceooi Hi there, thanks for the reply, I tried a different Bluetooth speaker, and it worked for some reason, but the sound is very low and inconsistent. I ended up sticking an Amazon Fire TV stick in the back. With the amazon stick there is no audio delay, and I am using VCL player to stream my movies. Great projector when paired with the Amazon fire stick.

I bought this projector yesterday and I have problem with keystone. On wall it works perfectly, but not on ceiling. When image is on ceiling projector shows info “I am not able to adjust, please do it manually”. I bought it with projections on the ceiling in mind. Is it going to be like this always or it just need some sort of calibration?

I don't have such issue here. Auto keystone correction is working perfectly fine on projecting toward ceiling. Do update to the latest version - 1.3.4. Make sure the projection type is set to auto. Or ceiling for you case.

Very good review! But I notice when side-by-side, why is the Wanbo X5 Pro produces way vibrant and natural colors compare to Elfin Flip despite its higher color gamut? Something to do with the calibration or contrast ratio? They are at the same price point of $300 so its a decent comparison.

Hola amigo, gracias por contestar, aquien europa ese modelo es FENGMI DICE, dlp con bateria, varia con el chino que no tiene 3D y que los lumens ansi son 700 no como el modelo chino. Estoy muy contento con este proyector pero empezo a fallar en enfoque automatico y tengo que estar muy amenudo vilviendolo a enfocar manualmente.

Thanks for quite good review! It's really helpful. One question, is it right Apple Airplay is supported? Company specification page says it supports DLNA/MiraCast, no mention in Airplay. EDIT: How about XGIMI MoGo 3 Pro, is it also support Airplay? I was comparing with MoGo 3 and almost decided to MoGo 3, considering it is better to have generic OS rather than company custom OS anyhow. Only small problem is that Elfin Flip discounts as £259 for Black Friday while MoGo 3 is still £429. Quite hard decision 😅
