after reflection from rigid body amplitude decreses then why should u take same amplitude in solving it by principle of superposition. ..?????

It depends if it's perfectly rigid body or partially rigid body. I'm prefect rigid the reflected wave would differ by incident wave by only a phase difference and nothing else everything else is constant

sir if medium is change some energy must be change as u say . so wave on 2nd medium get low energy why frequency. shouldn't be change ?

frequency is independent of medium it only depends on time more the frequency less time and vice versa

Speed of wave increases in rarer medium. So, I'm confused with the following data: Speed of sound in Air = 331 m/s While speed of sound in Aluminium = 6420 m/s (I'm assuming Air to be a rarer medium as compared to Aluminium)

Einstein Admirer. Speed of sound in a medium is directly proportional to how fast the particles oscillate and give the energy to the next particle. And denser rarer medium refers to resistance offered by the medium. Hope you understood

For sound wave.. Air is denser medium and solid are rarer one. And reverse is true for light.

Density is one of the factor for the change in speed but elasticity is the dominant factor..... So we can use denser or rarer for comparing only if the elasticity does not have a big difference

If wavelength decreses then time period will also be decrese,as a result frequency will increase 🤔🤔🤔🤔
