We know that limiting friction does not depende on surface area......But in tyre case .....We thought that if there is no dust particle be them ....Then friction is more in plane surface than rugged surface due to more surface in contact..............Is that means kinetic friction depends upon area....Pls make clear sir...

Sir, in the sum at 43:00 isn't it a connected body? why is only 50kg mass considered for finding the acceleration and not (50+15)kg?
@alphasharma89338 жыл бұрын
Veneta Kumar because 15kg mass or 150 N (effort) is used to pull the 50kg (load)
@ShawnDypxz7 жыл бұрын
+Alpha Sharma You are wrong. Actually Veneta Kumar is right . Because it's a system both the mass will accelerate at constant value of a. Also Sir has forgotten to mention one thing on this numerical. Actually when limitinng friction is overcame , kinetic friction acts into play which is less than the value of limiting friction and therfore the net force will be more and Since it is system, Acceleration will be the (150 - (muk *500))/(50+15)

at 2.32 you said friction is a reaction force of applied force, but Sir action and reaction force act on different bodies , not on the same body. Can you please explain. Thank You.
