I don't understand why the government of Hong kong doesn't help these elderly people. They gave at least half of their lives to the society; however, in return they didn't get anything back. How could you see a grandma or grandpa who is 80 or above to work in this situation?
H.K. Government is extremely rich. Why not support, help out and payout these elderly everyday needs. They are those who helps to build and develop this colourful city, h.k. !
The Hong Kong government uses 2 excuses not to care for the old population First they say Hong Kong is a capitalist system and cannot give money out freely Second is the Chinese concept of children should support their elderly parents But with the high rents and low wages the young people has to endure How do they have any money left to support their parents ?
