Starting 1:41 these are "dexterity exercices" that help achieve the results shown later. Aka drawing earch line in one go, confidentely. It gives a way better look than petting lines and waves born from drawing too slowly. That's a key factor to getting a clean look in lineart. Of course, it is way "easier" to achieve in digital, in the sense that you can undo then draw the line again, but also applies to traditional drawing

What is she saying basically is that you should not use your wrist that much, and move your elbow more, i think especially with longer lines. Also for more complex figure forms, you control the amount of force you apply. The slower the line is, the more you push it . For example you draw a straight line, with very little force, then you slow down and change direction 90°, that's the point when you press it harder, then as you continue drawing faster line, you relax again So you kinda switch the amount of force constantly. It requires practice though Oh and i think artist glove helps, because you gonna slide your hand around the tablet a lot if you use your elbow more. The glove makes it smother, i tested it myself the other day. Good luck^^
