thanks for providing english CC right away😄 for english speakers, the "distortion" tool is called "liquify" on english CSP! 英語のサブタイトルをいつも早くにもらいましてありがとう!誰でも英語のClipStudioを使って見える人へのコメントで、「distortion」のというツールが英語のClipStudioには「liquify」って付けます。
I know this is an English comment but this video is making so many interesting and good points that I want to add something as a Fine Arts graduate: Using references of any kind has always been an excellent tool for creatives of any origin, even way back in ancient times. This is an example of it and good for beginners as a start. Not as encouragement to trace but a start to practicing anatomy. I just wanted that said before some gatekeeping art lover wannabe tells people otherwise. Aaaand that I hope that this can be translated to Japanese by someone, so future artists won't be discouraged by the idea. You guys are going to have so much fun learning all this!

I really am bad with proportions and anatomy in general and using models helped me start enjoying drawing as a hobby. I still cannot draw properly without the models and I'm scared that I am too reliant on them and not learn drawing properly but I am glad to be validated that as time goes by, it will reinforce learning anatomy instead! Thank you for your insight.

Thank you for this! I can do basic anatomy, but it takes me a lot of time to get things right and usually I end up giving up on my drawings... I always felt like it's cheating to use 3d models when others can just draw from their heads, but now I'm starting to change my mind. I mean, I could eventually draw this on my own, so using models to make the process faster should be okay, right?

@@SeraSeraYT Late reply but don't feel bad about using them as a beginner! As long as you don't ONLY rely on them, and by that I mean don't neglect doing your studies on anatomy basics and proportions and doing figure drawing studies, it will help build a visual vocabulary in your mind! But even as someone who went to art school and has been drawing for decades, I still regularly use 3D models because they are so helpful for setting up what I want out of an image and giving a starting point to work from :)
I would love to see more examples 😅.. Eg. Full body and more dynamic pose

It's actually really impressive how Sensei maintains his coloring style in across different programs. Even though he usually uses Photoshop, the coloring style in CSP looks pretty much like it could have been colored in the same program. I'm a Clip Studio user and I don't think I could function if I had to use Photoshop. 😂

The programs themselves don't really have distinctive style differences, they can all apply a lot of the same functions

They're actually quite similar in terms of tools aside from PA not having watercolor edge (AFAIK).

Coloring isn't gonna change cuz all programs/apps are the same, since RGB has a global standard. What makes a differences is the brush... But as long you use the same method the coloring will be the same.
Hello! You mentioned that your main application is Photoshop, right? But you also like clip studio for lines. I was wondering, what is your process for professional illustrations? Do you use both Clip Studio and Photoshop? Do you use one mainly for colouring and another for sketching? Sorry I can't ask in Japanese. Thank you!

What is the brush you've used sensei for the line drawing? I'm really curious 🧐 10:50
