I wonder if it is better to do cut, wire and repot in different stages or at once as the Master does? I almost do not have any experience (only 4 years) comparing to the Master, so I'm afraid to kill the tree. Thank you! And many thanks for your videos, they a great to learn and to practice! With watching Bonsai Master videos I have just purchased one of those root cutting scythes, is the root soil akadama as it looked really root bound and hard to work out? This is going to look a really nice Shohin Bonsai. Next video please👍

Why do you cut the root ball like that?
