Most of them are meant to be the "calm" break you had after an intense animation or storyline, which does not mean it is less important; all his scenes are inserted at places where one would really be startled by the quiet scene, then focus and listen and witness, his past, his promise, his desperation, his broken soul, he regaining faith in life, his "death"...they were all beautifully done. How both he and Feixiao thought quietly about their promise to each other before their "death" was those kind of scenes that are so quiet and so powerful. They were meant to be quiet; his lonely yet not so lonely fight. This is the exact same way of depiction they used with Acheron's past during Penacony, and I would argue both are used fabulously.

Getting beaten by Jingliu gets him depressed and wanting to change, Fyxestroll garden shows how he's dealing with that depression and tests his resolve, and here we are, months later getting the payoff of that. He's not even close to bratty. Yunli is a massive brat in comparison.

Being blessed with an item from an Aeon does not make you an Emanator either, because this would contradict many other characters' lore such as Fu Xuan, who would supposedly be an Emanator of Erudition if this was true. Different pathways have different types of Emanators. For example, Harmony Emanators aren't exactly living beings, but a collective will that can be controlled by Chordmasters like Sunday and Robin in order to do the Harmony's bidding. It's most likely that the Hunt Emanators are the spirits like Lightning Lord themselves. The arbiter-generals have continuously been stated to have the same level of strength as Emanators, with a strike of Jing Yuan even being called the strike of an Emanator by Black Swan. However, the one who made that strike was the Lightning Lord. With Hoyo's unwillingness to state that Jing Yuan and Feixiao are Emanators, yet continuously groups them together, it's probably the spirits who lend them Emanator-level strength since they are Emanators.

Just know we still don't know if Feixiao is an emanator or not as gaining the gaze means nothing in that aspect. I mean it does but it doesn't automatically make you an emanator, if that was the case Jingliu would be one but she's not as far as we're aware. And no she wasn't already an emanator as they would've told is if she was like they did Acheron and as I remember they didn't and the generals aren't necessarily one as it's possibly the power they have passed down. Honestly this is getting more annoying than all the archon talk and theories is genshin. Alos the rating pistol doesn't mean anything as the numbers it uses are jokes or references about the character, same with all the other relics on the space station. And the burst she uses also means nothing so far as we've only had one confirmed emanator so ofc ppl are gonna make theories on that which has no base as of now since once again we only have one confirmed emanator to go off of, and who knows they can be completely different.
