Fun fact: Welt Yang is the same Welt Yang from Honkai Impact 3rd. He canonically crossed over into this universe to protect this universe's version of Himeko. The games have more connections than you might think. There's even references to Hi3 and music taken directly from that game used in HSR.

​@@niteyknight503even 2.2 and 2.3 had its moments. I do agree that they were flawed though. Penacony was probably a 9/10 in terms of gacha stories but about a 6/10 overall in terms of video game stories in general which is a real shame given how excellent 2.0 and 2.1 were.

I love how he clapped when the rain returned as Acheron sheated her katana after the twin slashes against Aventurine, that's my favorite cutscene in the entire game, just pure cinema and love dedicated to my favorite character.

If you're planning to play the game, Penacony arc was really an emotional roller coaster and I think one of the best story writing in a video game. Hopefully you can still enjoy the game after speedrunning all the plots and emotional bits 👍

Penacony was just amazing and you teared up without even knowing the charakters now imagine how it was when you connected with them over 3 patches with alot of dialogues and bonding^^ i cried so hard out of joy when the cutscene came where robin and the train showed up and then again when Sunday falls the music hits and robin jumped after him

It’s a weird glitch the game often experiences annoyingly. Music and audio sometimes clip out and become completely inaudible for 3-5 second durations, and at the start of the game some people had this messed up audio.

Emanators are extremely strong and they are often the strongest in their path after the Aeon. Fun facts: Qilpoth is the oldest known aeon Aha (aeon of elation, not a playable path, yet) once made a worm an emanator to see if it could surpass humans, it could not When Akivili, Aeon of the Trailblaze (the path where the nameless tread on, aka the astral express) died, Aha, the aeon of ELATION was sorrowful There are currently 18 known Aeons in game (will add on in future)

Honestly, not just for a gotcha game but in general, Honkai Star rail is one of the best video game stories, cinematic masterpieces and fun gameplay I've experienced in a long time. I would HIGHLY recommend playing any Hoyoverse game. The depth and detail of the worlds Hoyoverse have crafted are honestly 10/10. That goes for Genshin and Honkai Star rail as well as Honkai Impact 3rd. Honkai impact may be the only video game/movie that has ever made me cry in my entire life and Genshin is such a beautiful and well flushed out world it frequently makes me stop and just admire the beautiful scenery. I don't know what is going on over at Hoyoverse but they have some very talented people working for them.

about te story of HSR: Its about the astral express crew (Welt, Himeko, March, Dan Heng and the MC trailblazer/Stelle/Caelus) travelling to different planets to get rid of these so called "Stellarons" that can destroy planets Also: Hoyoverse tends to remake their characters for honkai impact into their other games, they are so called "expys". They are the characters from honkai, but at the same time, they arent really that character. Think of it as alternative universes. The only one who is the same character (both in Honkai and hsr) is speculated to be Welt/Mr. Yang

This entire video just reminds me how much I love star rail cinematics, but absolutely hated Penacony. It was a drawn out, tedious mess that just wouldnt... stop... dragging... on... It was confusing, dropped the ball entirely, and convoluted simply for the sake of being convoluted. God, I REALLY hope they use a different story writer for 3.0 and onwards because Penacony was just NOT it. So many call it Peakacony, but fuck me, I don't get that sentiment at all.
