JerryRigEverything tested what would happen when you would accidentally push the sim ejector tool into the mic hole on many devices. Most present smartphones have the microphone to the side of the hole, which means you can't damage the mic. Awesome video nonetheless :)

Great review👍 but the thing about the SIM tray and microphone is not completely true. the microphone hole is a right angle into the microphone witch means no matter how hard you press the SIM tool in to the mic entrance it will never reach the microphone.

This was really honest review... I own S22 Ultra and on Wednesday I'm buying MI12Pro... S22 Ultra has only good camera and that's about It...Everything else is just a bunch of crap... Heavy phone,crappy Exynoss,Unstable,overheating,freezing and I have to mention battery life is awfull. Did I mention charging at 48W? I'm dissapointed with Samsung, my "old" Redmi Note 11Pro had better battery life and MIUI is just amazing.S22 Ultra has the same interface as old S8+ that I've owned a long time ago-nothing changed...Samsung has only good comercial and selling policy,scaming buyers like me to buy their product and no way back,just selling it forward for about 400eur less that I've payed a month ago... Never ever again Samsung... I'm back on Xiaomi for sure...

No video out. No audio jack. No SD card slot! No notification Led. No IP certification or water resistant building. No laser focus. No great zoom. No OIS on all lenses. No big battery. No audio zoom. No Infinite floating apps. No 144 Hz screen. No possibility to receive calls on Xiaomi Pad 5 via bluetooth or Wifi. Not bad, indeed... But far from excellent. Price too really too high! Man... No video output via USB C, really??? In 2022?!? No sd card slot??? For real? Still long way to go before offering the best.

There are almost no flagship phones that offer SD card slot. I think Sony have released one last year, but it was close to 2K. @Stjepan - I think it is better than the S22 Ultra in some areas. In some other areas - the S22 Ultra has the edge. Don't really want to go into discussions which brand is better, I just believe that we should be more focused on what we need and are being offered, instead of choosing based on a brand. Otherwise it doesn't make much sense to be Android users, does it 😇🙃

And a lot other things and tips and tricks that this s 22 ultra can ofer.. Camera and video is beter. And mostly selfie camera how you showed. On 12 pro is laging. Il rather take if ther isnt samsung-----> oppo x5 pro, or last years vivo x70. The xiaomi 12 pro is a good phon but. This days dont konsider me wrong.... Phon without water resistand is worthles no mater how good and fast it is.. Imagin you are at friends hous on a party and somone push you in the swiming pool. Or big raining in forest or what ewer hapen to people. And your phon is dead!!! Huawei-s pro series a d mate are resistant. And now ther coms a xiaomi ekspensive phon and banana !

The front video has so many dropped frames

It mostly is because of my misplanning: the main video is recorded in 24FPS, and the front camera recording is 30FPS. So it causes a stuttering effect.

@@andylive974 fair observation, but apart from Xperia, which other flagship has an audio jack and card slot though? I think we should start to be realistic and accept that no flagship will bring back these features. the other thing, if I am not mistaken, no flagship has ever put an OIS on the ultrawide (the closest thing is vivo which put a gimbal)

@@leosantos4854 it's been years brands doing this... Taking off many things to put higher prices when things come back. That's sad. Do you remember these small apps, perfect macro shots in full resolution, social networks perfectly integrated in the OS so it doesn't take ram, rich and high dynamic range pictures, big photosites sensors, backside illuminated sensors, full printing solutions in the OS, and so on and so on, even the extreme durability of classy and beautiful smartphones that never had their glass broken (before gorilla glass trend with fake durability), many options of the call application, and so on and so on. All this taken just go reappear from time to time in "flagship phones" just to justify the cost. That's sad. In 2021 and 2022 many things have been taken off.

Hey Izzat, sure! I mainly use two microphones; The studio mic is Rode NT USB Mini (I like it because it's quite portable). The lavalier microphone was part of Mars Lark 150, but it's nothing remarkable. I add some compression and enhancements for better audio in post production.

I like Leo's idea. I currently use the 12 Pro as a daily driver. It is good. But each and every day I am asking myself "should I go back to Mi 12 Ultra"... 😇

@@TechMishka same here! i have been using the 12 pro for a few days.. I got it for 500€ with the chinese rom for 8/128 with green leather back... however the more I use it, the more i realise it doesn't have the best camera setup in current flagships. I know 131 in dxomark isn't that bad but I especially miss the periscope zoom. At the back of my mind, I would really want to have the best cameraphone.

They are actually very similar but both don't have distinct features. to be honest, It's hard to pay the full price for a flagship that offer's generic features and 2x zoom unlike the s22 ultra.

Yes, true. Techtablets has used the Chinese version of the phone, running a different MIUI build. I have carefully analyzed his observations. For example - in his gaming stress test it was showing stability of 50-60%, while on my ROM it scored above 90%.
