This is one of the most competent camera setup on a phone I've seen. You can clearly see how much difference the megapixels make. All three cameras have identical megapixels, thus maintaining similar quality with their photos. Outstanding.

I upgraded to this from a mi 10 note pro. I prefer to buy 1-2 year old flagships vs modern mid range phones for 2 main reasons: 1: they go down in price quickly. I got mine on sale for $680. 2: they last longer for me, my 10 note stayed serviceable up to the day I bought this. The very small degradation of quality in the ultra wide and telephoto cameras is likely due to the smaller sensor size, despite being all 50MP.

I see it the same way. Thinking about getting it for only 570 euro. However, still not so sure about the battery life. I had bad experiences before with large display. It is kinda annoying that they could get through a day.

​​@@riva2003 Yeah, my 12 pro's battery life is definitely starting to suffer over time. I still love this phone though, still very snappy and quick and a beautiful screen. The battery isn't all that big of a deal with the 120W charger that can fully charge it in 20 mins. Even with the battery issue, I'd still strongly recommend it. Mine was brand new when I bought, presumably surplus, on Amazon so the battery was pretty good when I first got it. If you buy used you'll definitely notice reduced battery life though. Either way, if you use the 120W charger, the battery life becomes much less of an issue.

@@touch_master721 umm idk if you've looked at the back of a 12 pro before then. Only one lens is big and obviously has a huge sensor behind it. The other 2 are smaller. I was referring to the telephoto and ultrawide in comparison to the main lens, not to other phones to answer the point brought up in the video. So maybe either learn proper English or maybe YOU don't write stupid things (since it seems like you didn't even watch the video either).

I bought the Xiaomi 12 pro, upgraded from the Xiaomi 11 t pro. Must say got the positives I was looking for that were missing on the Xiaomi 11 t pro, namely better sharp screen / display and a good camera. However find the battery weaker and phone occasionally heats up on bumping up the brightness (I can deal with this as your review was clear and it's the price I'm willing to pay for a sharp crisp flagship standard display that's important for me ) however was looking for help from you on one issue. I believed that the scrolling was super smooth. I don't experience so. There is a slight stutter on vertical and horizontal scrolling, any suggestions to solve this. In the setting change from adaptive to 120 hz it will force 120 hz on adaptive you will often get a choppy scrolling because it set to 60 if the app isn't optimised eg youtube

Wait for the update for the speakers. When I first bought the Xiaomi 11t pro. The speaker wasn't good. But after the update the speakers will become loud and clear. You really can feel the Harman kardon.

Bought this 2 months back. Disappointed to see moisture inside main camera glass, even on slight temperature difference. A lot of pictures looked with fog due to moisture inside. Customer care says this is normal. Don't know what to do now.

Probably way too late but for anyone else who's curious yes to both at least the version I'm using does. Rather the side by side, the dual SIM is on the front and back of the tray which keeps it small.

Xiaomi after sales really suck. My phone had issues under warranty and the service center told me it will take them more than a month to get parts. Plus they won't compensate you for all the inconveniences. 😑 #Stopbuyingxiaomiproducts

Nice but UK price please ? Mi11 2021 was banging it started at £650 early bird ( i bought it!) or then £750 in the UK, you can only really compare mi11 2021 @ WQHD+ 6.81 with the 12 pro 2022 as its successor, I feel like this line-up has tried to hide a big price increase by adding another model? Xiaomi is not Samsung and apple in the west re sale value is not as good, I can’t see it flying if its £999 this is Samsung S22 plus money, I wanted a mi12 that was an upgrade on last year with a modest price increase, this feels a bit like its going in a one plus direction price wise or even apple!

They target users at all price point. If you don't need some features you can get cheaper models. Like for ppl who just want camera or latest CPU or fast charging. If you want CPU upgrade only, you should wait for the T-series later in the year. Personally I don't change phone till its dead. So resale value not a problem for me.

This is a downgrade from last year's mi 11 pro and even 2 years old mi 10 pro, apart from the SOC upgrade which is just an iteration and even that department, it suffers to provide stable performance. The IP ratings are gone, 2X telephoto at this price is laughable because with such a powerful processor and image processing, that big main camera can easily achieve 2x lossless zoom. The 5X telephoto in last year's model or 2x Telephoto + 3.7x telephoto combo in Mi 10 Pro is actually far more versatile. Not sure what's Xioami's thought process on this but looks like they're trying to promote Ultra series heavily by cutting corners to the other flagships.

I'm pretty disappointed with this one. No IP68 rating, below-average battery life, 3 years of OS updates instead of 4 that Samsung offers and Android 12 with missing features (Super weird) Also I didn't expect average sound and video quality from XIAOMI, especially with that much hype.
