Actually I turned from IOS to Xiaomi Android and I thank god that I haven't invested many money on Xiaomi cuz even if the specs are higher but the system integrity and stability are so bad. This experience has taught me the importance of inclusion the system in your decision to purchase.

Love your videos! One extra thing I'd like to see is a few more night shot and night video samples, as well as the slow motion capabilities. For night shots, I mean real night, like dark areas lit up by little more than stray or moonlight, instead of the typical scene with dark areas around plenty of bright areas of artificial light. With most phone cameras now, even those areas are bright enough to trigger the cameras to dial down their exposure, obscuring the artifacts and maximum capabilities of the hardware and software. I've been using these methods to evaluate Huawei vs Samsung and my older LG in near pitch black, astrophotography, and Northern Lights photography. Keep making awesome videos!

I love Xiaomi's backup and restore feature, I can just backup all my apps and their data (even non Playstore apps) and restore them on another phone. Combined with google's backup and Xiaomi cloud, this is the ultimate backup.

Same. It's part of the reason why my last three phones have been Xiaomi phones. It's just easier to upgrade to a new phone while carrying over exactly what your previous phone had. Granted, it might also be the case for Samsung to Samsung or Apple to Apple. But if you've been using Xiaomi, it's very logical to upgrade to another Xiaomi as well.

The 12 ultra looks stunning, but it seems like xiaomi is still holding back from going all in, they always have had a quality disparity between the main lens and the uw/zoom, I own a 10 ultra and the camera setup in very similar, love the versatility it provides but the quality of uw makes it very hard to use in anything other than perfect lighting, probably same story here with the 12s ultra; miui is also another problem, it is fun and nice to use but there is just bugs that can happen and you won't be able to fix them, and if you use it as your daily driver these smaller problems really build up the frustration.

Apart from Xiaomi's MIUI they have been on fire lately. I am using MI11 Ultra and it's GOOOD specially after heavy use cause it can charge in around 35 mins. Take around 12-15 mins to 50% so I can plug it anywhere till a break and get enough battery. Only thing I was looking forward that video mode on rear screen that would have been fire for vlogging and stuff with 50MP main and UW camera.

Same here - but I've just had to buy a phone because my 4 years old Galaxy S7 finally installed the spider app. So I'm thankful to this channel and one of the past video I've seen comparing iPhones with Androids and mainly Apple vs Samsung. The US KZbinr pretty often preferred the iPhone in a category over the Samsung. But then near the end he admitted that in 2022 get still was using the S21 Ultra, because it was the better package, sometimes in tiny things like missing vibration calls on the S22U but never on the S21U. So now I'm happy I could buy a absolutely new looking S21U with 256 GB for way less then a new S21U, not even mentioning S22U. And I'm absolutely amazed. The 10x optical camera (240 mm equivalent) is like a telescope in my hands, it's the first smartphone which can see farer then my naked eyes. So I'm happy, there are companies creating and optimizing all these great devices, organizing the marketing that early adopters spent their money on these and a little bit later I can get the same tech for halve the price. And my wife, who is not so interested in all this tech stuff at all, gets an extremely decent phone, better then my flagship S7 years ago, for even way less money. She loves her A52 for being water proof (dropped it already into a water bucket), the vibrant OLED screen, making extremely nice images and especially the macro images it takes.

I feel the Samsung wins though. The s-pen is tremendous. Remote control to the phone, it's not just used for writing. The ultra wide is better, the 3X and 10X, 960 FPS Super Slomo is much better than it was on previous Samsung phones. Front camera wins. Up to 1TB storage and 12GB RAM. Samsung pay, Samsung Password, Secure folder for a few more bonus points :P Samsung gallery has awesome editing features like Object eraser and shadow remover, both work really good. Anytime I tried other phones I immediately miss the fun of Samsung and all the cool features.

Yeah my sisters MI phone makes you wait 10 seconds to look at a warning before installing apk files, it literally has a timer that counts down 10 seconds with huge red warning like something is gonna blow up if you click install. And the countdown can't be disabled. And samsung phones are much easier to root down the line especially if they are more mainstream.

In my opinion, Xiaomi did an amazing job. It's my favorite brand. But according to the video, I would say that Xiaomi focused on the things that matter the most. But Samsung felt a more complete phone, all rounded and more reliable in terms of Camera, battery and other things. So it's a 50/50 for me but I'll still go with Samsung just slightly.

Yes. Apple and Samsung try to be “environmentally friendly” by removing their charging bricks, but they actually are doing the environment a favor with their software support. The iPhone 6S got 7 years and the iPhone 7 got 6 years. Galaxy phones are promising 4 years of updates which is already a huge leap ahead of other Android phones.

I was looking for a compact phone and chose the Xiaomi 12X over the Galaxy S22. I was nervous at first but it works flawlessly on TMO and gets 5G. I just hope a future administration doesn't kill Samsungs, Apple, and Google's new rivals like it did Huawei. The Mate 20 was epic then the ban happened.

I have used Samsung phones for the last decade exclusively, starting from a Galaxy S2 to my current driver, the Note 10+. I always loved them but it is nice to see that other brands can do almost the same without breaking your wallet. If my Note10+ wouldn't satisfy my "needs" in 2022 (which it certainly does quite well) I may be thinking of giving the Xiamoi S12 Ultra a try. Android phones are topping each other every year so I am curious what the market will look like in 2 years when I am ready to ditch my Samsung phone. Anyways - beautiful and informative video, Arun! Great Video,i still have my Samsung S10+ with 500 gb storage,and iam still very satisfied.The Camera makes fantastic Photos,although i use the Pics almost always just for FB,Twitter or Insta,and when i go traveling to the Swiss Alps.And when i have to use it on my laptop to look they are still looking stunning.I dont know how far this Camera war will end.I dont see any sense to look the Pics on a big screen just to find out minor Diffrences.Iam waiting for the S23 Ultra and see what iam gonna do.

I have to say it's a beautiful phone, and that textured back looks amazing. Off center cameras are just eye sores, and make phones wobbly. Also I cannot stand smooth glass back panels. Frosted glass is better, but this looks like an even better solution. I never really considered xiaomi as a brand I would like to buy, but this phone looks like a very solid choice in that price segment.

I've been buying Xiaomi phones since the mi5s, I wouldn't recommend buying them if you can afford a Samsung because the software always let's it down 🤷🏻‍♂️ I only buy them because they're cheap. That being said, I've always loved Xiaomi for their design they are the best in hand feeling phones on the market and always have been. Their hardware is excellent too only let down by software. This ultra phone is a bargain selling for £740 in China. But in the global markets it will sell for 1.1-1.2k 🤷🏻‍♂️
