I actually prefer the IR blaster being behind there than at the top, because I just need to hold the phone normally and press the needed buttons. Comes in handy when playing with siblings, the TV goes off without them suspecting you😂

love the presentation, and honesty about the small things android users might not like compared to other flagships. Is it still possible to add the settings or at least disable any advertising notifications heard that it was an annoying problem from other small reviewers and friends.

IMO, this phone is just next to perfect. It has all the checkboxes ticked. The only problem with Xiaomi is marketing and product distribution(for their flagships). People won't discover this gem just coz they will never hear about it.

I have used Redmi 11 , 11 pro , 12 pro and MI 11 Tpro and I have been blown away , it fits perfectly for me , considering the fact that I have used all Samsung form S9 till S21 plus and I somehow struggle with Samsungs phones

Xiaomi 14 is prone to lens fog/mist and you have to leave the sim try open to remove the fogging on the lens.

same experience..after 15days of using,mine has an camera issue..shooting a minute the camera starting to moist and the output of the shot is foggy..it is in a warranty center now,hope they can fixed it..

About the recents tray you can set it to the simpler version, just pinch your home screen tap the settings icon in the bottom right and choose the how the recent home tab should be displayed

Finally a brotha that I can ask something 😂😂 I heard that this phone does not work well with us with a darker skin tone. What has been your experience? On the selfie shot with the car in the background, it did look lie it tried to “brighten you up” somewhat. Not sure tho.

@@m.r.2718 it does fine in my opinion. My only issue with it which seemed to develop later on was the lens fog issue when you use the rear camera for a few minutes. Can be annoying. But it does fine with skin tones

Size is perfect. I tried this phone out of curiosity today and I don’t like it. Looks somehow too artificial. Os is too crowded and complicated, camera is not even close compared to iphone but photos are ok. Bokah effect has way to much software boost and it’s not accurate. “Kino” recording - you won’t like it, especially if you’re used to “cinematic video” on iphone. Design is good but looks like blueprint steal from an iphone. Why am I keep comparing it to an iphone? Well, because it looks exactly like that. Poor attempt to make an android iphone. But huge respect for giving a full box, cable, case and charger. P.s. I loved android’s innovations, but it seems that everything died with LG and Huawei

It depends on luck i think. I believe there is a bad batch. I bought it and i live in mountainous region with like 15 oC temperature. My camera is ok. One of reviewer said he put the phone in the refrigerator and no foggy lense.
