it's alright, just need to use it a bit longer to get used to it, samsung always release exynos version of their S series here, that's why I prefer xiaomi with "meh" software compared to great UI with shitty chipset

ive had my xiaomi 14 for about 2 weeks. battery drain is definitely a thing on this phone. it drain about 5-10% overnight on standby. standby isnt exactly the best. wish they fixed it in a future update.

And it should not be the cou given 8g3 is supposed to be 3n3rgy efficient. And my 8g2 s23 ultra drains 1% over night. So it's the software.

Turn off notifications and WIFI before you sleep, it drains like only 5% on Mi 9

Xiaomi 14 definitely is a full day phone for me (especially during work days), but I do carry around a portable charger just in case even though I haven't had to use it yet. But yes, I think the battery life and performance are more than good enough for students!

I'm deciding between Samsung S24+ and Xiaomi 14, which one would you recommend? I'm looking for a great phone camera that produces nice light and not over-saturated photos, with a lovely bokeh. I've got a Samsung s10 and a Huawei p40pro and although the s10 has better camera quality, I tend to edit my photos a lot to remove that annoying yellow tint. Whilst Huawei produces photos with better softer colours.

I believed this video, and bought Xiaomi 14 myself. Wondering, what's the screen time on that video? In reality, I got 14 myself, and with mobile data, it's 5hr of screen time tops. That makes 10hr of usage (it's not even 1 day of battery life) I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND this phone for those, who really need good long lasting battery

Okay, the leica filter is good, but I stick with my i15 and s23fe, i've been using xiaomi flagship since mi3 till 13 pro, you know what? the notification bug is sitll there after all this years, even if you lock the app running in the background, turn off the batterry optimization, if you can deal with the ton's of buggy software, go for it, the camera is good for the price.
