Anyone else w this problem, I gave up trying to install it myself. Took my scooter to a tire shop and they did it in 5 minutes for $10. Save yourself the pain, cuts, bruises, sweat and tears and just have professionals w the right tools do it for cheap. Wish I had gone to them the second I bought the new tires... LOL

@@josebarrancas4705 I purchased solid tires from amazon. Mine were the 8.5" tires. They are all the same except for the tread design or honeycomb.

Many thanks for this video. I'd previously changed the rear to a solid tyre when it got a flat, so I knew it was a real PITA. I'd put off changing the front until it got a flat because I knew it was going to be worse. Following your method it was significantly easier. We had a struggle pulling the motor out until I realised the bolt was stuck. A swift bang down on some wood and it released. The new solid tyre (very much like yours) was fitted on the wheel in ten minutes (I had tyre levers). The rear took me over half an hour (with it heated the same way).

Nice video. Very clear and easy to follow. I had to boil the tyre twice to make it soft enough to mount. My scooter is a bit different from M365, the motor is not attached to the cover. It took me 40 min to open both covers and found out I couldn't take the motor out anyway lol. Now I have been using solid tyres for a while. It's not as bumpy as I was worried. No problem with speed and battery, everything is fine. I really like them. So, if you are a woman with no muscle, with proper equipment (esp. tyre levers), you can do this alone. Just keep calm, don't get angry. Put everything on the floor, use both feet and whole body weight to put the tyre in, not just 2 hands like in this video. Don't step down until it's done, because once you remove your feet, it will bounce back out and you will have to start it all over again.

I have changed my tube from bicycle repair shop. First of all it took so long time and also it was not easy to fix the new tube inside .we have to cut the nib into half where we fill the air . Then it was adjusted . And now its more difficult to fill in air again , i will suggest if someone wanna buy scooter ,they should have to buy 🛴 with tubeless tires

you don't have to take the nub/motor out. You can take the tyre off just as fine with the wheel intact.

This was really good. I was surprised that there was a tube in there. I have a Swagtron 5 Elite and I think it is tubeless. But I have a bead leak and am contemplating what to do about that. I worry about getting a new airless tire on there. So I might slime it or bead seal it first. But this video gave me the confidence to at least take it apart. Thanks!

Okay, what you could have done for the hole in the wheel hub is: cut off the air valve on the tube (it's bad anyway and leave about 1.5 - 2 inch of tube for base support), stick the value through the hole and screw the cap back on it to keep the dust out. Looks cool doesn't it?

Its a lot easier if you lever it up on the rim as apposed to trying to stretch it over from the top.

I made it last weekend. But scooter is going about 2-3km slower on maximum, and battery capacity is shorter for about 60%. It has most lower acceleration. I think it is problem of combinations of flat outside profile of tire,and flat inside profile of solid tire. AirTube tire has profile like letter "O",and road-contact area is small. (I pressed it to 6-7atm. 40km/battery.) But solid wheel has flat profile on the road,and has bigger road-contact area and higher rolling resistance. Second thing is permanent small moving in the rim. Tire is soft,and you can hear permanent sound between rim and rubber. Inside profile is not in contact with the rim on all area,only on sides. And your weigth deforms the rubber at first on outside profile to flat on the road, and pressing little bit more inside to the rim. The motor works,and heats up. This all also heats up the tire, then the rubber softens, draws energy from battery. It is like energy spiral. Unbelivable. I'm in Prague(CZ) and is 9degr Celsius. I dont know how it will work in the middle of summer....?! Flat terrain is ok, downhill also, brakes are reliable, but now I cant go to small road climb. Bye all!

I am having some issues,my scooter comes with 10 inch tires and I can't find honeycomb spare tires anywhere. I do have an standard 8,5 inch tire. Would it be possible to use that? I am missing a tool so I haven't gotten to check myself.

@@gadgettaco7857 Watch the video back, you took out the main part of the video. Showing us getting the tyre on. U used two people. I managed to get mine on by putting the tyre on the ground under some crushed up paper using.my knees to hold the bottom and two tyre leaver's on both sides and after two attempts (first one I put the whole tyre to the other side 😂) I managed to get it. I would say keep the water boiling and when the tyre starts to cool down put it back in the pot for couple mins. Not an easy job by any stretch of the imagination.

I had one on the back for a year and after some months the tire got very soft, softer then stock tire at 45 psi and I had no problems with rear bearings. Today I put one at the front. The tire will apsorb shock very well after a few months.

I bought in UK. Don't buy this rubish scooter. We had two regular and pro versions. After 2,500 km, the engine will be so loud that it is impossible to drive. Bearings practically impossible to replace. Will start to violin, tap. The brake cable will break. It will stop charging. Replacing a punctured inner tube is a nightmare . My friends scooter broke down after 1200 km. The Xiomi warranty covers nothing under warranty. They demanded 3/4 of the value of the scooter for the repair of a faulty loud motor of no known fault. Stay away from these chinese scooter…
