Xiaomi M365 How To know if your BMS has Two fuses

Yesterday I was searching for a way to determine what a single fuse and double fuse BMS on the Xiaomi scooter looks like. There is no such video… Until now. Thank you!

PLEASE READ: There is an app called M365 Tools which allows you to check under battery section if your scooter has 2 Fuses without having to open it.

For the us version you have to go and look in to it because I asked the manufacturer and he said it had 2 fuses but it also came with 1 year warranty

Is there a way to make the scooter able to use without Bluetooth at all and without any data to run it just by pressing the throttle and kicking it and it starts can I just disconnect certain wires please advise I really appreciate it

not sure what you are asking, this scooter has always worked without connecting to a phone via Bluetooth. in this video i am taking about the BMS( battery management system)

I'm not sure how BIRD locks the scooter through an app. Unfortunately i'm located in Canada and don't have access to these scooters. i wonder if they added a module to the scooter to lock it, or if they were able to perform some sort of software lock. when you have the battery cover off , do you see anything that may have been added to to controller? if its a software lock, see if you can reflash the scooter with custom firmware. i have a video on how to. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6LWood7h6mqibc

I also have a European white model 16132/00000609. BMS 0115, I use the M365 tool for Android to check it and the battery serial is 2JCGJ19A5B0956 production date 5th January 2019. The app says 2 fuses. I assume this is accurate and I don’t need to open it up and I can use the cfw? Another question is if the cfw disable the Kers does that mean if I release the accelerator the scooter will continue to move smoothly without a sudden slow down? If that is the case is it not recommended ?

I got mine Nov.2017, based on the app battery production date is Nov 2016. So I assume there is not even reason to open it up... ?

if you do blow the fuse, there are ways to fix it. another option is to add a fuse right next to it the single fuse. ultimately, if you dont feel comfortable opening it up, then i would not attempt to flash a custom firmware. just enjoy the scooter they way it is

PeckoBre the phone holder is really good for less money. I use the same. You clamp the phone with a screw.

Hey man. I watched your video, I just received my scooter today but my serial number is different that all yours , maybe because is newer Could you tell me if my scooter had 2 fuses? My serial number is 21074/00005514 and it was manufactured in October 2018 and it’s black Europe model with 2 spare tyres Battery serial number is 2JCGJ18JJD0325 voltage 36,59V I would like to speed it up little bit but don’t want to break it Thank you for any advice

opening it up is the only 100% way to find out. other wise if you follow my other video, you can go by the serial number or battery production date

Are you serious about adding a fuse, what if you just replace the BMS board with a twin fuse board? Would you then be able to mod the firmware? Thanks in advance!

You could replace the bms with a 2 fuse unit. But they are kinda expensive(about 30 USD). Where a fuse is about $1. Either way you will be able to mod firmware after having 2 fuses

Mine has one long beep and 4 or 5 short beeps after. Won’t go and replaced the brake magnet. Still nothing. Any tips ?

Mine made similar beeps when the battery was low. And I'm not sure what brake magnet you are talking about?

I read that the beeps mine made was a faulted magnet in the brake level. Took the brake level apart and did see a magnet sensor. Bought a new one. Still doesn’t go.

ahh. i believe if you leave the brake magnet disconnected it should still work. try that. obviously you want have regen brakes, but just to try and see if it works.

Nicholas Anderson mi home should allow you to cancel the update. You can always flash it to the custom firmware even when you are updated

Doug Hnut I want to know battery life when I downgrade the firmware and run MiHome it forces an auto update. It seems like you used a 3rd party app for speed but I’d still want battery.

Doug Hnut Maybe it allows you to cancel on Android but I couldn’t find a way to skip it on iOS. Like theres nothing to stop it it just saying updating, there’s no setting in options to disable auto update either.

You are ridiculous you don’t need to disassemble it why can’t you just look for the fuse when you take the cover off why do you need to rip the battery plastic wrap off I mean seriously.
