My 1st comment: Hi. I have a Mi9T (global) and since the newest MIUI 12.1.4 I couldn't make calls, cause the speaker stopped working and even the 3.5mm jack. But even before, since MIUI 12.0.9, the auto brightness, proximity sensor, screen rotation stopped working. So I tried to unlock and flash it with MIflash tool and install older MIUI 12.0.9, which is the latest stable ROM. Something went wrong, and Since then I'm on fastboot screen which is in constant loop. I cant even turn phone off anymore. How did this guy help you? With this video or with teamviewer? My 2nd comment: Damn, I just solved it. For me, I was stuck in the MIflash2020 3-14-0 tool, and if you know what I mean, you too downloaded lots of MIUI ROMs for your device to your PC, be it Global or EEA or other, and you always got red error instead of green success in the end, right? You probably changed the flash.all file in "Images" folder and edited it and deleted "crclist" or "getvar" lines there and nothing worked. You were desperate like me. Tried all, yet you don't even know what TWRP or bootloader or EDL or ADB are...like me. Then I see a video where a guy just deleted a part of the ROM folder name from "davinci_eea_global_images_V12.0.5.0.QFJEUXM_20210416.0000.00_10.0_eea" and left the folder like this "davinci_eea_global" (so just the beginning of the name) Then on the fastboot screen on my Mi 9T, where I was stuck for 2 days and couldn't turn the phone off or anything basically (just the Chinese rabbit with the android bot logo were showing) connected it to PC, opened Miflash2020, added the "davinci_eea_global" with the "select" button, ran the "flash" button and after like 4 minutes, it was a "success". I really don't get why just changing the folder name of the MIUI ROM for your phone made this difference, but for me it did. 30 minutes ago I was desperate for 2 days, then right after writing the first comment, it just worked. so fricking weird. Before, I used the same ROM, but with its full name. I actually downloaded like 50GB worth of MIUI ROMs for my Mi 9T, and nothing worked. I downloaded MIUI 11, then 12.0.5, 12.0.9 (several version of global and EEA), also and older 12.0.4 and 0.3 and NOTHING worked. then I read horror sentences like if you have a locked bootloader you cant do it without a special xiaomi account etc...Damn, I was sweating bullets. And then a 3 minute video solved it. This should be it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jISsqpZ-mbV1Y7M There is a high chance this wont help you, or you have another issue. I just wanted to roll back from the 12.1.4 which ruined my phone, to the 12.0.5 which worked well. And I got stuck on fastboot and couldn't do anything. Then I tried the 12.0.9, which still the proximity sensor and auto brightness don't work, but now I'm scared to try to go even further to 12.0.5 :P

please keep this note : download miflash + china rom => extract china rom => copy extracted ROM to C drive on your PC=> run mifash => flash ROM linked to C drive

Hi, got the samt problem today. I downloaded the latest CHina developers Rom from the source as described. Thing is, there is no flash_all.bat file in the download! They only show boot.img and some .dat and.dat.br files. Nothing more. what should I do? Using 7zip to unzip. Thanks

I would go almost the oldest. My way of thinking there would a higher chance a old Chinese rom combined with a newer twrp recovery Should give you Less chance of bricking the phone + the recovery should install

Thank you very much! A few additional issues and solutions I ran into myself: 1) I I tried to flash a wrong folder once and afterwards the phone would reset on every fastboot command from my PC, even when reopening the Mi Flash tool or restarting my PC. I proceeded to install Mi Flash on another computer and try to refresh it there and it magically worked. Whether I needed to reinstall Mi Flash or it was the other computer that did the trick I'm not sure. 2) While Rick says to download the latest Chinese developer version, Rick installed the normal Chinese version in the video. I've tried both this version, the latest stable ROM and the latest developer ROM. The latest china developer ROM fastboot (9.6.20) is the correct one. The stable ROM had broken wifi and didn't allow me to access the bootloader. xiaomifirmware.com/roms/download-official-miui-roms-for-xiaomi-mi-8-se/ 3) After downloading that fastboot rom, there's a TAR file INSIDE of a Tar.gz file. You need to extract the Tar file to somewhere. Then RENAME that Tar file and put .zip at the end instead of .tar. It will give some "this can corrupt files" blabla just press yet. Now you can open the zip file and THEN drag that folder inside of it into separate folder. Then select that folder as for the Mi Flash tool (don't forget to set it to clean all and NOT clean all and lock)

I am so proud of myself that I almost cried! I decided to investigate a little more about the commands, because I though to myself "if my computer is able to execute commands, maybe I'm able to trick the fastboot", so I erased all partitions (one by one) and installed all possible images (also one by one) through ADB commands and it actually worked!! Now I'm just having issues with TWRP, because no matter what version I flash, as soon as I wipe all partitions I get stuck again in fastboot loop (which I'm able to fix with the method I mentioned above)

I did this to my new poco F3 that has fastboot stuck, then the third time flash it after errors, the phone boot to Miui. The weird thing is the flash stated as incomplete, not success. But the phone boot and working just fine now. Any idea why?

if i had a vendor / dealer rom on my Mi8SE i would first attempt to unlock the bootloader, if that is successful i would need install TWRP + Custom rom If all that failed, i would follow the video we are commenting on and do a full Wipe and fresh

hello bro first thanks for the video . i have the same problem my poco f1 is stuck in fastboot mode , i tried flashing stock rom by using this method of mi flash but after runing for 500 seconds and finishing it will show error and not completing also tried adb fastboot method but also reboots agian into fastboot mode. thanks for helping me out.

you might have to go down the path of EDL flashing Which will involve opening the phone up and connecting two pins together, then flashing via software
