watching this on my newly bought note 5 pro. its lookin hella good,a total upgrade from my previous phone,redmi note 4x. dual camera with depth sensor is good,screen is bright and color is accurate,speaker gets loud enough while still retaining the clarity with audible bass. great phone all around. would recommend 10/10

i have a redmi note 4x, and am interested in upgrading to either of these phones. while i am leaning towards the redmi note 5 pro, a critical factor is the audio quality. the mi a2 has great audio capabilities, compared to the redmi note 4x, but can you shed light about the redmi note 5 pro? redmi note 4x is not that great in terms of audio output (via earphones and bluetooth). since you owned both phones, can you tell me more about the sound of redmi note 5 pro? thanks & regards

@@mrlennybruce The audio quality with headphones on is not that far different from 4x,but the built in speaker is better than 4x. Plus,u have 3.5mm headphone jack on note5,so if you're an audiophile who dont quite like the audio quality loss with wireless headphone,note5 is the way to go.

i would have preferred the mi a2, if it had a bigger battery. I have both Bluetooth and wired headphones so the absence of headphone jack shouldn't be a problem, though wired gives better audio quality. at least a 3600+ mAh battery would have been good.

What is it with reviewers consistently ignoring audio?! Most people i know use their smartpones as their primary music listening device as well. And so do i. When i am interested in a phone, i am looking to find out what is the audio quality (via headphones or bluetooth), and most reviewers skip this section completely. upvote this comment if you agree, so we can demand that reviewers focus on the audio as well!

mi a2 has just a bit better camera but Redmi note 5 pro is having a bigger battery..... so for a heavy user ---- redmi note 5 pro for camera lovers and light users mi a2 but note pro also has a good camera maybe not as much as mi a2 processor is not a vital issue for me..... both of them are equally good

Confused: MI A2 has better processor (SD660), better cameras, USB type C but only 3000 mah battery, no expandable option. redmi note 5 pro has expandable storage, 4000 mah battery but micro USB, SD636, bit lower cameras as well. Seems you cant have it all.

I dont know what phone i should get. Im really struggling. Bcs of my job: I need a phone that could use tons of social media app and still runs smoothly. Phone call and messages app need to run smoothly too. I also need a good camera. Sometimes i would need to use more than 4 photography editing app at once. Sd 660 is much better than sd 636...so Mi a2 is much better than Redmi Note 5 pro in terms of gaming... Also if talking about battery mi a2 has stock android and note 5 pro has miui... So 4000 mah on note 5 pro would be same as 3000 mah on mi a2... Also the stock android would make ur phone much better for gaming... Mi a2 is obviously better... And if playing candy crush saga... It wouldn't matter if u buy note 5 pro or mi a2 as they shouldn't have any problem running the game smoothly... But in high graphics games sd 660 would perform notably faster than sd 636 and mi a2 is thus better
