Xiaomi phones are really good for gaming and its battery life is superb! I have a Redmi 3 and its performance is still the same even if I had dropped it numerous times. Can't wait to have Mi 8 soon once its available here in the PH :)

You cannot compare apps on two different operating systems, they are written in different languages (Java and Swift, probably) by different developers. Just one lambda function on Swift might take extra loops when written in Java. Comparing heavy games would be reasonable.

My s8+ was FAR "Faster" than my iPhone X but it dropped a ton of frames while doing so and I hated the animations. I wish Android phones were smoother and had consistent frame rates and better animstions etc, I'd love to go back TBH but I don't know any phones that are the same

I don't understand how apple were able to make iphone 6 faster than OP5 back then, while Apple was using a terrible SOC compared to SD830. Now using the A11 which is faster than SD845 (not much faster in multi core but way faster in single core), they are slower than OP6, Mi8, Poco F1.... iOS is becoming slower ?
