You can use lighter batteries, do not use the metallic and expensive ones cause they are heavy. I'm using xiaomi night light 2 myself. It sticks to my painted wall.

I have the yeelight as well as gen 1 xiaomi. I was looking for another yeelight but they are no longer available locally for me. I was hoping gen 2 would be better...

I quite liked gen 1 xiaomi too. Some other feedback I received suggested that gen 2 stick fine on their wall. But regardless gen 2 is way heavier then gen 1.

Did you leave the adhesive for a day to sit? Could be the reason it was not strong enough.

It’s been a while but I remember doing that. It could also be the surface - my built-in wardrobe surface is slightly textured.

Glad you don't have issues with the sticker. I guess it has to do with the surface of my wardrobe then... I don't believe the nightlights support Bluetooth?
