Mi pad 5 better for the first 1-2 years. But longevity goes to ipad, 5+ years os updates + more optimized apps. Ive never had an apple product and im android for life but in the tablet world, apple is undisputed. Although im hoping galaxy tabs might catch up soon

I have an iPad air first generation in 2014 and it is still working nicely! tho hanggang IOS 12 na lang siya, i can say na yung performance the same pa rin way back. Pero yung battery, ang bilis na manobat as in. Inalagaan ko naman ipad ko, by not overcharging or using while charging pero wala ganun pa rin. Sakit nga ata talag ng apple devices ang battery. As a med student, kailangan ko talaga ng tablet. That's why I'm looking forward for Xiaomi Pad 5. 😁

For those na talagang dinadala ang pad for schooling, I guarantee you, Android is very flexible. Security and Quality-Wise, sa IPad ka na. However, some points will justify why I love Xiaomi Pad 5. Storage: If hindi ka naman picky sa brand, mas mura, mas better for storage. Imagine, kung bibili ka ng 256gb variant ng IPad, around 20k plus na, and Xiaomi Pad 5 256gb variant is around exact 20k lang as of now. Security and Updates: I prefer an Android one kasi ang laki ng access niya with Play Store, however, may mga apps ngayon sa AppStore na kailangang higher pa yung version ng IOS. But on the other hand, kung seguridad lang rin naman, IOS ka na. If you want more flexibility and easy access, Android. Battery: Pad 5 ka na. Ewan ko ba kung bakit battery lagi issue kay Apple according to some users pero ayun, Pad 5. Camera: Hati ako dito, since online tayo ngayon, most likely yung gagamiting cam is yung nasa harap mo 😂 So medyo angat si IPad dito. Pero, like me na mahilig kumuha ng videos and photos outdoor, Xiaomi na lang ako, OS/UI: I love IOS. Subok ko na since I use Ipad before I consider to switch to Xiaomi. Pero, since nasanay na rin naman ako sa Android and UI ng Xiaomi because of my phone, nakakaadjust naman. Overall: Ikaw na bahala humusga HAHA. Pareho namang maganda pero my heart goes to Xiaomi as of now. ❤

Balak ko sana bumili ng IPad pero since nagbubudget rin ako, doon na ako sa may same level of storage para makatipid. Same rin naman sila ng maibibigay sa user. It is just may preferences lang tayo ❤️ Now, since around 5 years mo siya gagamitin, it depends pa rin on how you use it. Pero worth it naman both brand, love ko lang talaga Xiaomi hahahahahahshsh

Bought the 128gb mi pad 5 nung pre order kaya 15k lang. Ganda ng performance. Hehe. This year I switched to Mi 10T Pro after mabasag and masira ng Samsung S10+ ko. I've been buying the S series ng Samsung since S3 and with 10T Pro kahit di sya top of the line ng Xiaomi, halos similar lang perf with S series ng Samsung at less than half the price. Budget + great perf, xiaomi na talaga. I even have the Mi air purifier 3C and Mi air fryer. 😂

As a student, taking notes is essential. And These base model iPads are geared towards school and education purposes. Sure, you'll need to pay additional for the apple pencil, but it'll be totally worth it because of the excellent writing experience. And let's not forget apps like notability or good notes which are excellent platforms for taking down notes and some word editing. App optimization and software support is also a strong point when selecting apple products. In the end, it all boils down to the reason behind why you want to buy a tablet in the first place, or what activities you'd want your tablet to perform.

Hi! Im android user ever since..i have a redmi phone..but for tab i chose ipad. I bought ipad 9th gen already. Before, i watched tons of reviews, samsung, mi pad, ipads.. i felt like parang may malaki lang akong android phone pag android tab ang binili ko.. hehe. Overall naman talaga panalo latest tabs ng samsung at xiaomi ngayon compared sa 9th gen in terms sa performance, doon lang talaga ako nagbase sa software support in the long run & multitasking.. di rin naman ako choosy sa specs basta keri ng taste ko. If you're a casual user, for gaming, multimedia, heavy multitasking then consider the budget friendly xiaomi pad 5. If you're an artist, and you're looking for the best writting experience then no doubt go for the iPad because base on my research xiaomi pad 5 still weren't be able to level with apple in terms of pencil experience. Just don't forget the additional 5-6k apple pencil.

I'm sure all the android hate has already piled up in this comment section: Here is my experience I still have my Mi pad 1(7 years) and it still runs smoothly the only downside is ofc unsupported games that need bigger rams to process and software update stopped (which is what to be expected of course) but other than that never have I ever faced a lag or any inconvenience wit it. its battery life is still at 2 weeks of just music and almost a whole day for watching downloaded movies. compared to my sister's Ipad that after a few years it becomes slow and unsupported despite the light use and care she has with it rather than how abused mine was with games and watching. For some reason, there is always that one update in her pads that ALWAYS fucks up her battery health. Which by the way is a recurring issue that forces her to cycle 3 pads from the 7-year span I had with my Mi pad 1 I disagree however on camera quality and video quality comparison iPad easily takes that part

Idk, android tabs flops imo, really. I own an iPad air 4, previously owned a Galaxy Tab S6. If the Tab S6 didn't made it for me, paano pa kaya yung xiaom pad lol. And not to mention, if you prefer android tabs more, youre paying for the design and the display, not for the quality and software. Pero if you really want a good quality one that will last you for a long time,but in a cheaper price, I think, choosing the iPad 9th gen is great option, you can do essential things naman with it like school stuff and art.

piece of advice- if you can afford iPad pro- go for it, you wont regret the accuracy of apple pen 2nd gen esp in graphic design. If hindi talaga kaya ang price then choose iPad air 4 yung 256gb

For my personal experience totoo longetivity wise proven and tested talaga ang apple ipad 6th gen ko since 2018 pa until now still very useful parin sakin updated nadin ako sa ipad os 15.2 sulit pagkabili ko sa ipad ko i think di pa ako bibili ng bago kasi di pa naman outdated yong device ko so far

I think you compared a different type of Tablets on that serves its purpose, you should compared it with the iPad Air for the over-all similar features, the Original iPad is meant for the traditional users of the iPad lineup. I would've agree if this is back when Snapdragon 800( 2013) is the standard/ most powerful cpu for Android because of throttling and inconsistent frames but after 835 let's face it android improves a lot. no hate/ I also use iPad but the flexibility and affordability of android tabs from brands now is a great deal. and for reference, I've tried almost maximizing my Ipad to 90% of its storage, yes and struggles too :)

My xiaomi pad 5 is on the way to me na. I got their mi pad 4 plus and believe me or not, it lasted for over 5 years na nga ata. So when this mi pad 5 came out last year, I didn't nt consider an upgrade kasi gumagana pa nga yung tab ko. Then, this year nag sale sya and di nako nag hesitate na bumili. the only thing preventing me from buying the mi pad 5 is the pen bcs it doesn't have palm rejection and most smart pens in the market, altho universal, does not have palm rejection and is mostly compatible to apple products. I am going to use the tab for my studies so an effective smart pen is really important for me.

Meron parin pala ganitong comparison. Comparing apple to banana. Kahit high end android tab pa vs ipad 9. We using icloud services will pick the low end ipad 9. When you are not in apple ecosystem you’ll never understand why. Its not about fan of apple, it’s the ease of switching between devices. Yung kung ano naiwan mong task sa iphone, you can continue it in mac or ipad. Storage is not so impotant sa apple FYI. iCloud storage do more better than even your 1 terabyte non apple products. Sana matapos na yung gantong comparison kasi they are totally different. Compare android to another android.

I’m an apple fan mula ng nakagamit ako ng 4s my very first Apple product. And Yes, once na nasa Apple Ecosystem kana mahihirapan kana mag-adjust like gusto mo lahat ng accessories made by Apple. Gumamit ako ng Samsung S4 noon as back up phone sa 4s ko but diko na fully maximize ang device kasi diko sadya prefer gumamit pero sa battery superb ang android like all day long HAHAHAHA

If you're an artist or have ios exclusive products that you need/want, choose ipad. For everyone else, choose xiaomi. Nakakainis plan ko talaga Xiaomi Pad 5(better hardware specs) kasong kating kati na ako maka experience ng Procreate at apple pencil lol. Best daw un pen nila eh, better than wacom daw. To be honest, di ako fan ng Apple products just because wala silang expandable storage. Karamihan ng Android devices ay may expandable storage na malaking tulong especially if marami kang ginagawa like graphic design or other content. At kahit na may cloud storage, may times na kailangan mo sila offline kaya mas prefer ko ang Android. Although may mga Android devices na rin na walang memory card. Both tablets look good though. Here are my conclusions to both and their pros-cons: Battery: Xiaomi = use 4 hrs charge 1 hr. Apple = use 2 hrs charge 2 hrs(balanced) Camera: Bruh.. cant compare.. Xiaomi wins(still bad though lol) Processor: Apple faster no cap. SD860 decent though. Still a bit lacking compared to Apple. Task management: Xiaomi wins with no heating and force closing apps(lol apple when?) Price: Apple: not worth the price. Still a good one though Xiaomi: PRICE TO SPECS RATIO Through THE ROOF Screen: Xiaomi wins Ios display suck Sound: Apple wins Xiaomi is only loud nothing much User friendliness: Apple wins(lol) Android really is for tech wizards Storage: Price to Storage value Xiaomi won no cap.

Well... The dual speakers are a bit too loud making it really hard to find a good feel. To counter that I bought a good set of headsets and dang that built in equalizer for Atmos is beautiful. Ipad on the other hand is... Good speakers. Atleast better than mi pad 5. That about it

When it comes to video hindi maganda yung video sa front camera ng Xiaomi. Somehow Pixilated yung video ni Xiaomi. hindi din napag usapan yung mga app na supported sa Android. Like Editing tools and stuff like that. While si apple may mga supported na mga stuff and sometimes made for them. Also, Personal POV Apple is an investment yung pag uupdate pa lang nya ng software, is an advantage. While sa xiaomi we do not know until when sila mag bibigay ng software update. But, then again your money your decision.
