We can surely do our bit, but it is the consumers who need to raise/call out the brand for any irregularities. For the Pad 7, Xiaomi has told us that it will receive 2 years of Android upgrade and 3 years of Security updates.

I think comparing this with the OnePlus Pad 2 would be a bit unfair, the Pad 2 is 11k expensive and at the same time it has a flagship chip and a bigger battery over the Xiaomi Pad 7. For note-taking, both will work well, just ensure you get the Pen/Stylus along when you buy. The pressure senstivity of the Focus Pen is really good and there's no delay, as you will be able to see in the sketching segment of this review video. Let me know if you need any further help. Hi, yes it is good for video editing and you can render a video in 4K. I've tried VN, Capcut, InShot, Adobe. Even the Luma Fusion app (paid) for Android is now out on the Play Store so it depends on the app you will be using. If you can provide more details on whether you're looking at editing multi-track or single track videos, would love to help.
