The Xiaomi QiCycle exceeded my expectations as it is a well-designed and beautiful little electric bike. While it has a few drawbacks but I have already used to them and hopefully, I will be using the Xiaomi bike for years to come. It’s not the cheapest electric bike on the market but I can easily recommend it, despite a few shortcomings that I will be living with. GET it here: bit.ly/2zH3BJS . Hi I feel the need to share my experience as people often search for videos about products they want to buy. After buying this bike brand new and using it 5 times to go from home to the tennis court 1km from my house, when I was ridding it back home, the welds on the steering column between it and the handle bar cracked open and the handle bar detached completely from the steering column. I had several traumas on legs hands, head and shoulder and an acromic clavicular dislocation level 5. Now Im gonna have to do a surgery to fix my shoulder and as I imported this shit from another country there is no company I can sue in my country. I recommend you all to keep an eye on this welding and replace it with something safe or you might not be as lucky as I was

@NikosKatsikanis6 жыл бұрын
Can you share more details on why you swap for that scooter? For me it’s mainly the legal things as I think Bike is more legal and UK
@dfungus69216 жыл бұрын
That's it. Under UK law, I can only ride the scooter on bicycle paths or private land/parks etc. I bought it originally to help me get to the local supermarket via cycling paths, but since moving home, there are none of these paths here and getting to work is not going to be possible, even if I decided to ride on the pavement as there are too many pedestrians walking. It was a choice solely based upon the legality of the scooter. I'm actually putting myself in danger by going to ride the cycle on the roads but I'm not one of these people who will ride a scooter/bicycle on the pavement as its not only illegal but also shows lack of respect towards pedestrians. The UK has excellent public transport links, but in terms of driving and cycling, it is well behind Germany and the Netherlands, despite the Mayor of London trying to make London more 'Greener'. If I lived in Germany, I would of kept it. Who wants to pedal on a cycle when you have a modern day vehicle that can go 16 mph non stop with just a simple push off from the ground.
@subspaceanomaly6 жыл бұрын
interesting to hear your logic. This sounds like trolling but really isn't intended as such; why not use a good non electric bicycle? I'm really interested in the electric technology, but am not sure why healthy young people would us them as a good normal bicycle is already so efficient. I rode a scooter in London for a while and found cycling less stressful and better for my health.

@jesperhedegaard1003 жыл бұрын
Well - as all people are build differently, the reall ? is not just how tall you are, but what is your inseam. Knowing that gives a guy an idea about the distance from seat to pedals will fit - and when subtracting inseam from height, it also gives a good idea wether seat to handlebar distance will suit you. In doubt about what I mean ? Ask Uncle Google about bicycle ergonomics - there is a little more to a bicycle's size than just your height ;o)
