It's true my phone has fallen about 3-4 times inside water and works perfectly fine and I have used it under the rain too and nothing happened, the only problem I had was that the speaker had a problem but after some time it became normal again ☺️ so I still recommend redmi ❤

I was so afraid when my phone accidentally dropped into the water closest while using it, I thought my phone will get damaged by the water and was really shocked why it still working perfectly fine so I went online to know the reason not untill I came across this video. Guys I highly recommend Redmi 12c it is really water resistant

The redmi 12C does have an IP certification, defined by xiaomi itself. On the official website it doesn't say so, but it does say so on the official website of the POCO C55 (which is the same phone) and also in the manual of the device

Xiamo themselves say the phone is water resistant, and can withstand high jet pressure water. BULLSHIT.
