Thanks, your trick for finding an oppening with the usb port worked just fine. My outline was really tightly glued and i couldn't find a way in on my own. My battery connector cover looked different and half plastic covering the camera and IR blaster but after gently wiggeling it got off as well. Thanks a lot, hopefully i can enjoy my renewed Redmi 3 for some more time now :)

Archana. Kumar battery price is 599 + 400 sevice charges + 18 % GST = 1180 from service center Not 1800 And also i don't know battery from ebay is genuine or not. I dont want to take risks. So i went to mi service center for battery replacement, but they takes three our to check and says that's motherboard issue not battery problem and it will be replaced not repaired at cost of 6016/- I refused and they take 120 as a inspection charges.
