I love that this review is done outdoors and I've numerous cameras and phones finding out Xiaomi takes excellent and realistic outdoor photos and I am still using my Mi Note 10 and every update makes the phone better.

Hey Linus, I just wanna say thanks. Always been a viewer who never commented, but you were one of the very few people who covered the Samsung A8 (2018) all those years back and I chose to buy the device after watching your video. The phone has been really great, but I feel like it's time for an upgrade over 3 years later. This phone has definitely caught my eye. Coming from the A8, I simply refuse to settle for a phone without an OLED screen, SD card support, a headphone jack. Other phones also always had some form of notch which I absolutely hated. Punch hole is fine. Punch hole in the center is even better! Was super close to buying the Poco F2 Pro, but ultimately I decided against it due to the near 220g weight. Now with your seal of approval, I'm gonna go ahead and get this phone when it launches in my country on the 15th of March. Thanks a ton for this video man. I wish you good health.

IMO, a flagship must have these components - Flagship SOC, SD 888,870, or even 865 is still excellent for this year - AMOLED with high refresh rate display - Build quality must be good, aluminium frame is a must ! Back case can be glass or plastic, although glass is more durable to scratch - Rapid charging - Great camera result, OIS is a must

Xiaomi gives Samsung hardware at lower pricepoint than Samsung would ever give. The only difference is that Samsung's not necessarily better in mid and low-range smartphones, just high profit margin.

The back just doesn't "look like glass" it is infact gorilla glass 5 at the back. Only the frame is plastic. And the phone is, I would endorse your opinion here, the best device in this catagory.

I've just bought one in the glacier blue , I'm maybe thinking the black and grey one looks better. I got mine for £250 amazing price for the quality. I bought mine for the stereo speakers and the FHD amoled screen. Having a great camera is a bonus aswell.

@@Niyaz916 a few issues but nothing recently the latest update seems to have sorted things out. I've had the phone over a year and I'm happy with it. I'm not upgrading to redmi note 11 pro version the small differences don't make much of a difference to me and I don't use 5g.

Like battery draining and camera not opening etc. And yes RN 11 series really disappointed. No major upgrades. I think it's a downgrade from 10 series especially on performance. The phone is beast no doubt about it, mid range killer But the big issue here is the stabilization. Yes the photos are Indeed almost perfect but the stabilization is where the phone completely has the disadvantage with other camera phones.. Even steady Hands wont have enough accuracy. My hand are no where near to steady so i will have many issues on trying to take a photo with it.. Is there any possibilities on launching an update so they fix the stabilization or is over?

I have no idea where you get this information from. It's very expensive. Also, there are many areas where it is illegal to build a house next to the river/sea/lake etc and even if it's allowed, there are certain distance requirements. The video was filmed by the river which is not exactly near my house.

It was not specified in official specs list before the product announcement. It was emphasized twice that the phone has Gorilla Glass 5 on the front but nothing mentioned about the material used in the backplate. Therefore, especially given past Xiaomi design choices, it was presumed that the backplate is made of plastic. Either way, the backplate, just like the entire phone look and feel premium.
