thanks for making this video. I was able to fix a a problem with my phone not charging, and it only costs me like £4 for a replacement USB board off Aliexpress. A phone shop wanted to charge me about £80 for a replacement motherboard and service, claiming the problem is (possibly) humidity and moisture damage; sounded like some made up nonsense when they said it, and this fix just confirms that.

Thank you very much for this video. I was facing the same problem of charging disconnect. Before replacing the socket I removed the pcb and cleaned all contacts with isopropyl alcohol and also the solder joints of the charging socket. I plugged in the charger and suddenly phone started charging properly. So maybe my problem was a loose or dirty contact on the pcb. Its very easy to remove the back cover. I removed it with my finger nail slowly carefully. I'm posting here as it may help someone. Its worth trying before replacing the socket.

I buyed mi note4 03/02/2018 from Trivandrum Kerala. But one issue is showing from this mobile after 82% cannot take charge. At the time just removing the charger pin and reconnect the charger after getting 100% charge. Then I am send this mobile mi authorised service centre but after serviced this mobile showing same problem. Please give any solution for solving this problem
