A friend of mine is still using this phone (with the snapdragon 625 ofc, coz Xiaomi was barred from using mediatek chips on their phones back then) on MIUI 11 (the last best version imo) in 2022, and it still runs smoother than most Mi/Redmi/Poco phones running MIUI 12 or higher! Not to mention, the metal back and its lightweight design (in comparison with most phones these days) makes it feel more premium than almost all phones of today below the 20k segment.

it's a great phone, I bought it in the Xiaomi Mi Home store in Shenzhen and had it free engraved with my name :D I had to do some fine tuning in the multitasking settings, like battery, permissions, notification's etc. But after that it runs great and the performance is almost on top with highend devices!

Hey Ash! Amazing onboxing. There's been a few changes in the video quality from last 3 videos. The clarity has improved significantly, but for some reason your camera is capturing and highlighting the body movement too much. Specially with the Sony XZ review, whenever you move your hand or body, the camera focused on it too much, and it kind of looked odd.

i found the redmi note 3 with the 16MP camera was pretty poor in low light, often choosing longer shutter speeds making for blurry images and video. Glad they are going back to the 13MP camera for now.. The 16MP is definitely sharper in good lighting though.
