The fact that it goes back to the base to clean its mop pads is better than using a water tank in the robot, as they will always be clean like someone would do with their mop. Having a water tank to dispense the water means it will keep accumulating dirty water into the pads and spreading it everywhere.

That’s very odd that it cannot lift the mop pad automatically on the carpet, the X10+ which is the older model and runs on the same firmware does this. Are you sure it was just not on the first run? Also did you set in the settings to lift on carpets? There’s a dedicated setting for that, it’s under “Carpet Cleaning Method”

No, really, X20+ is, in certain areas, a downgrade from X10+ and hence cheaper to start with. It does not have carpet detection sensor. IMO very stupid they have removed that. There are new models coming soon - Pro - adding back a carpet sensor and hot air drying to mops, Max - adding extensible mop arm, more powerful suction and hair cut blades.

Just deciding between the Roborock and Xiaomi too. X20+ is a slight downgrade from X10+. They have e.g. removed the carpet sensor, so you need to define a no-go zone for mopping. Also, X20+ does not have a water tank - the unit needs to return to the base, to re-wet the mops. You can define, after how many sqm it does some - 5, 8, 10, etc. Most reviews to X20+ though, are mostly positive. Also, new Pro and Max versions are coming soon, especially Max adding features, you can find in Roborock with twice the price. As for Qrevo S - is it cheapers than S8+, but they have also removed some features. It pretty much fails on an obstacle tests, uses cold water to wash mops, does not have extensible mop arm. You might be better looking into Qrevo Pro, which sould not cost much more.

@ Hello, thank you for the opinion, well the pro was not available here yet otherwise I would have taken the q revo pro, the X20 Max and Pro are up now but the Max I saw a video and the sliding mop fails not going to the edges, in the end I got the Q revo S and I am satisfied

If you remove a carpet physically but not from the app, it will still treat the spot as if the carpet is there. Hope this info helps! :)

Forgot to mention in the video, but yes, it empties the bin on the robot into the base station. Let me know if you have some other questions.

you can vacuum it, but its advicable not to mop it. When you mark carpets in the app, it will vacuum it with the carpet mode. Let me know if this helps :)

Very important features missing. I would definitely go with L10s ultra. Mopiing with no water tank is nonsense. Carpets may move. Hard to maintain position of carpets

Does it really matter? It will take longer to clean because it needs to return to the base more, but it means the mop head is kept cleaner than those with a internal water tank. Doesn't matter if you schedule it to clean overnight?

I purchased this machine two years back. Since last month it has stopped working. The Company has put its hands up saying that they have stopped manufacturing parts for this model. I am appalled and shocked by this attitude of the Company. Hence recommend not to waste your hard earned money as the Company is unreliable
