TWO QUESTIONS. Can either of the two physical side buttons be programmed to specific apps/functions? For example, press and hold the bottom side button to start the stopwatch app. Also, can you change the units of measure from METRIC to IMPERIAL? In USA we use Inches, feet, miles, pounds, and fahrenheit. The old S1 DID NOT support either of those functions.

Yeah, currently working on the video. I feel that S1Pro feels more premium. plus it has a crown. The S3 is really great about the interchangeable bezels though.

The battery life is a priority and one of the most important characteristics for a lot of people. So why shouldn't people pay more for better battery life? It provides balance between features and battery life, so that's a win for me.

Това което ме интересува най-много е: - да има добра съвместимост с iOS - плащания с NFC (по-възможност да работи с Apple card/VISA) - стъклото по възможност да е sapphire glass - да има добра барерия (визирам с нормално ползване поне две седмици) - всичките му сензори да работят добре и да са точни. - Важно ми е да си има вграден GPS и да мога да си карам колелото и да не се занимавам с излишни глупости. No WearOS for this much money? I would never understand nor support such a thing. I'm suspicious how many other things are locked only to MiUI devices. Did you test it with a another version of Android? Also why do you slam them for the genuine leather band? IMO it is the best material for a watch band (apart from metals) - there is a reason we've been using it for hundreds of years. And using genuine leather which is a byproduct of the food industry is much greener than making PU leather - non-recyclable, non-renuable petroleum product.

I've got the latest Xiaomi Watch, the S2 model, and unfortunately bought it before the global one has been released, so I'm stuck with a lot of Chinese only options/functions such as gps not working here in Europe etc, and only having some selected Chinese apps to download to the watch and no Google Pay options either, but apart from that it's a really good watch, and it's cheaper than the the S1 Pro.

I usually test wearables with non-MIUI devices when possible - luckily all functions are fine without restrictions. The watch is too basic to make the OS lock you in restrictions. And totally get your point - Wear os devices also have a lot more computing power. There are rumors that Xiaomi will release a weatOS based watch later this year

Ask Xiaomi about UPDATES S1 PRO and watch faces. Since it came out GLOBLE no new watch faces.. there is NO APP ANYWHERE on the planet to give you new watch faces. So for $250 your stuck with ONLY what it has.. till maybe they add more. YES there are CHINESE watch faces but they will NOT ALLOW You to use them. The S1 has HUNDREDS more but you need their hacked app to get them. Oh and the AMAZON? it works at first then never again no matter what you do.. ooh we have since it came out told them asked them begged them to UPDATE fix bugs but not a word.
