It shouldn't have taken Xiang Jun's truth to convince Zhongmou. His anger was misdirected onto Wu Tong who didn't deserve that judgement without an investigation that Zhongmou could have done. A real man shouldn't turn his back on his pregnant wife without even trying to communicate with her and sorting everything out first. Wu Tong was naive and trusting but that is NOT a reason for hurting her in such a painful way. If it wasn't for Meiling who knows where Wu Tong would have received the help she needed. With all the stress Wu Tong endured she could have lost her baby at a moment's notice. The doctor even warned about that when Xiang Jun dropped her off at the hospital when Wu Tong was diagnosed with pregnancy. After all that trauma Wu Tong was put through Zhongmou showed up at Meilings and asked, "I would like to take Wu Tong home." What on earth was he thinking and to think she would just say "Oh sure sweetie". I'm glad Wu Tong gave some push back but when Zhongmou finally apologized and she said, "You didn't do anything wrong" and told him to go back to his world. Well, I can think of plenty he did wrong, and he needed to address that.
