I love Timo. He reminds me so much of Dolly who was the same breed as Timo. We found her at the animal shelter and she was the sweetest cat. I'm not sure why they marked her price down to $15, but I saw absolutely no reason not to take her home. She was 8 years old, but 8 years old for a cat is a teenager. Our male cat who was about 4 years old had been chasing and biting his tail. I forget what kind of disorder they call it, but it an awful experience for a kitty to experience. When we brought Dolly home, he did his best to stop her from eating food from her bowl and using the litter box. For about the first week, she was hiding under our bed until we'd get home. We knew she was going to be okay one evening when she was sitting between us and our male cat said something to her, and she came back with something she said to him. After a week, she was walking around the house even though our male cat was still giving her trouble. One evening, as I was sitting at the computer, I heard some commotion by the entry door. I turned around just in time to see our male cat bother her again on her way up and down to the cat box. At that same time, Dolly turned around and smacked him a good one. Our male cat looked at her as if to say, "What'd you do that for?" He then followed her to wherever she was going and they were together every minute of the day after that. Dolly helped him with his tail too. When he would be bothered by his tail, Dolly would sit on his tail for him. His tail would be swishing her in the face, but she just wanted to help him. I could tell you so many more stories about our sweet Dolly, but you'd be reading for a long time. Dolly got sick and went to heaven. I can't tell you how devastating it was for us. One day, when it's my turn to go - there is one sweet Dolly face I want to see when I get to where she is - along with a few of our other furry babies that aren't here anymore - except in our memories and hearts. Give Timo all the love in the world. I'm sure you do. He is forever sweet like our Dolly was.

What a nice story you are very lucky to find a ragdoll for $15 I've never had a ragdoll but I've had three wonderful black cats in my life my first one was in 1975 we found her when she was a kitten walking down the street with her sister my auntie took the tabby 1 and I took the black one they both talked all the time we called her Shiba she had lots and lots of kittens one Sunday morning in 1977 I can never forget I went outside to find her I called and called and she didn't come then all of a sudden she comes dragging herself up the driveway she's been hit by a car we took her to the vet her back was broken they had to put her to sleep I cried for days my dad went and got me another black cat we called her Shiba number 2 she used to go into the neighbours house and bring home socks and underwear and leave them at the front door after many years she was starting to get sick we found out she had leukaemia after she died we also found out she had feline aids then one day I come home from work and my mum had brought me a black Persian we decided to keep her inside she was so much fun she loves her ping pong balls and she like to talk all the time she lived for 15 years she had cancer that was back in 2004 I don't have any cats now as my partner is allergic to them but there's a cat my kids and I made friends with near their school we've give him food sometimes but sometimes he just wants a bit of attention but one day I will get to see if my three beautiful black girls again

One of my little females absolutely tries her BEST to talk to us... she has different sounds and intonations, especially when we "engage" her in conversation... I have learned her cries for when she wants the water turned on in the sink, to--"My food bowl is empty!" to "Play with me!!" or "Brush me!" Absolutely adorable breed of cats!!! Thanks for sharing yours with all of us!
