I feel your kitty heart breaking; mine has re-healed at least 9 times, for the kitties whom have chosen me to adopt them, over the past 50 years... I have 1 black cat left... such purr... pure joy they offer at no charge. We are Blessed to be loved by cats!

@@Xiedubbel I believe it with my whole heart. My husband has cancer and my beautiful ragdoll called Phinny is getting very old. I know I'll have to say goodbye before I will ever be ready. The only comfort is I know they will live on and I'll see them again in heaven some day.
