As a new played, I got Octavia from Twitch Prime. I was happy to have gotten a cool looking frame and when I checked some tier lists and saw her listed as S tier, it felt great. Then, when I eventually got to the point where I could farm some other frames I found cool, I realized Octavia had made me terrible at the game. I had trouble using weapons, I had trouble surviving, I had trouble understanding the mechanics of certain enemies which, up to that point, had been dying on their own. She may be a good frame overall and good for afk farming, but she's the absolute worst frame for a beginner, at least in my experience.

This is exactly what happened to me tbh. I picked the game up when duviri came out. Got Octavia and cleared to mars before I stopped playing. Came back 4 months ago and decided to actually play Excalibur. Whole different game. I bought Dante too since I was only MR 5. He’s probly the most fun I’ve had with any frame so far. I’m MR 17 now.

Just MOD her for Duration and Range. She doesn't even need Strenght neither armor strip. More range = more enemies hitting the Mallet + More duration = more accumulated dmg on Mallet to return. Does it make sense ? Lastly -> Roar into AMP = GG

I play mirage for almost all. Helmeth 2 and 4th ability for better group kills with octavias abilities

or you could just be wisp & do everything WAAAAAAAY easier hehe. Want to be immune to all dmg? double tap 2., want to get to a hard to reach spot? let 2 go longer. then you have heal motes, attack speed motes, electric stun motes. want to go invis? just jump hehe. then you have a great dmg boost + crowd control & you can replace her 4 with any number of extremely useful tools. & on top of that, she can share all of that with her team & lastly, she just looks way better & as we all know, end game is really all about the fashion hehe. wisp is the perfect warframe & the only one you will ever need =)

I get why people say octavia is a lazy frame but that's your fault if you play her that way. Cast your abilitys and then use your guns. It's your fault if you choose to not use your weapons and to jus sit their invisible the whole time

Wisp lol. Wisp can be fast, can be invisible, can heal, can CC, can Damage, can do everything :P

@@PitchBlackLaser How so , can easily do level cap content with her. Her Breach surge indirectly scales with enemy level(since you will need more and more dmg to kill one enemy), if there is an eximus unit around a bunch of other enemies you basically start a chain of oneshots in the billions of dmg.

they can both be fast, invisible and CC. healing is irrelevant to an invisible player, and octavia's invis extends to the team. wisp's killing relies on being active with weapons while octavia relies on pressing 1 button.

I disagree you can do level cap with wisp but like you have to spam her 2, Octavia is just always invisible from like 4 crouches Whotch you spam don’t take wisp in level cap unless it’s endurance lmao
